I do not leave reviews honestly. However, I feel like I must for this restaurant. I've lived down the street for a year and finally visited. Not only was the food delicious, the service and hospitality was beyond amazing. The staff was kind and very accommodating. We will be returning many times!

Rating is 0 stars. Just picked up take out. Order was wrong. Burrito was tasteless and filled with lettuce. Tiny chunks of meat. Nothing had any spices or taste. We used to go there a lot. It's definitely off my list of places to go.

This place is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and there is always someone walking around making sure all of the guests have what they need. Every time my drink (Arnold Palmer) was almost gone our waitress Tiffany had another one on the table before I could even ask. We ordered the Queso Fundido with Chorizo for our appetizer. It came out piping hot and the taste was just as good as it looked, all fresh ingredients with warm tortillas. My wife ordered the steak quesadilla and I got steak tacos. Everything was great and were very big portions, so come hungry. Tiffany our server was very sweet and attentive to our every need. She even gave us some background about the restaurant and let us know that the cooks just recently bought the restaurant. So you know that every dish they are going to take pride in. It was our first time there but definitely not our last.

Delicia is sliding the wrong way. Meal was average. They wanted to charge for the chips and salsa they used to serve. Huh? Maybe times are tough, but that is usually a red flag that they are cutting corners. Chips and tostada shells were stale. Wasn't that crowded. Hopefully not end of line for them.

Very disappointed, I’ve been here a few times . Never actually ordered food but the last time I was there I did . I took my sister for her bday .When we arrived we waited atleast 20 minutes to be helped .Then we had to ask for water at least 4 times before getting any .forks and knife as well .Once we got our food . The food was not good . I order steak flautas . The steak was sooooo hard and dry , I couldn’t even bite it . I let the waitress know and she became a little aggressive saying she didn’t want to argue .when approach her with respect . Not once did we receive an apology . Very disappointing because the owner always has been nice to us . Unfortunately he was not there . So it was a different story .

We ordered chicken tacos through Uber Eats to be delivered late last night. Uber Eats was quick and got to us when we expected. However, this morning we woke up with cramps, nausea, headache, and other GI symptoms of food poisoning and couldn’t go to work due to these symptoms. Totally an unpleasant experience?

Ate there last evening during the Halloween Costume Party and found the staff to be extremely friendly and most accommodating. I was offered the opportunity to sample the guacamole with a few chips given that I don’t like onions and to my surprise it was delicious so I ordered more. I feel that my server went above and beyond by allowing me to sample some. Also ordered a glass of Sangria that was filled to the brim with delicious fruits as well! The best I’ve ever had.Had the pleasure of meeting Jed the DJ who got everyone to rock with his great tune selections! He made it a fun evening for everyone!My husband and I will be dining there soon to repay the restaurant and staff for their kindness and courtesy and to enjoy the music! ❤️

If negative stars were an option I would rate it as such.Customer service is definitely not part of their mission. Very rude and unprofessional. Their food quality was mediocre compared to other Mexican establishments.I would not recommend unless you would like to be upset and disappointed.

Don’t even bother with this place. I was excited to try it as it looked like a nice upscale Mexican cusine here in Plainfield .My wife and I were sorely disappointed. The food took very long while the resutuarant wasn’t all that busy. Then on top of it, the food was cold when we did receive our meal. My wife got an upset stomach that night and even had to miss work the following day after eating their chicken fajitas. Over-priced, bad food, bad service, and a bad experience.
I left this place totally in bliss. Everything was awesome. The horchata was excellent- good chips and red and green salsa. I got the steak fajita burrito and the flavors knocked me out! My favorite Mexican place in the area- and I’ve been to them all! I tasted my wife’s food and it came out looking really really good and had unique flavor that was really really exciting. Finally the fried Ice cream was off the charts. Great service and a cool vibe with the kitchen jamming out some authentic music that really set it off! Perfect night.

I have read so many reviews saying bad things about this place & I haven’t experienced anything bad whatsoever, in my experience it has easily become my absolute favorite restaurant no doubt. The nachos, carne asada & the tres leches cake is to die for, easily 5/5 stars for me. Great customer service all around, very friendly, in my opinion it has a great group of workers who make amazing food. Very happy I found out about Delicia Mexican Grill, would highly recommend to anyone in Plainfield / anyone around the Plainfield area, you won’t regret it. - Nick Triplett

This place is FUNNY!!! I had them bookmarked for about 4/5yrs I think. In the area and needing late night food/drinks we stopped in, the options for laye night eats are SLIM around here! Their kitchen is open until 12am, the restaurant closes at 1. We walk in and it's dark and LOUD, It's karaoke night. We're clueless as to where to start, there wasn't a hostess, greeter, or employee insight. We walk to the back/bar, we ask can we sit anywhere, a lady replies "Go back up front and I'll come help you"... VERY DRY AND RUDE. We looked at each other with a side eye, she followed us up to the front to walk us right back to the back and sit us at a table we were eyeing. The menu on the phone is what has the updated prices, but they offer so much its mumbo jumbo lol so the paper menu was better visually. We ordered a chimichanga meal, a Delecia's fajita combo, & 2 single orders of steak tacos. We also ordered drinks. Everything came out quickly. But getting items from the waitress was like pulling teeth. Steak tacos were not good! I wouldn't order those again. The steak meat wasn't grade A, it was B or hell even C! My fajita combo was great!!! Fresh, flavorful, & plentiful. The other person's meal was good I presume because he licked his plate lmao. Their karaoke was really nice! I'd definitely come for those laughs again. There were some very colorful patrons in this establishment and our waitress ended up being friendly, she was a dingbat, but a friendly bubbly 1.

This place has become so greedy for pricing. They will charge a $1 extra for steak tacos. Even charge you a large size for a drink with no ice but give a small amount due to “measuring”. Starbucks got sued for this very reason for deceptive practices. Even some pays for a large they deserve large. Ice does not constitute as a beverage. Playing games like this is how you lose Loyal customers of over several years. This owner is greedy. I remember the previous owner. Very generous and kind. That’s how you build business and rapport. There’s plenty of authentic Mexican grill restaurants that won’t try to hustle you out of money even after the impact of covid.

I felt bad there was only one server for the entire dining room. So it took 45 mins for her to take my order. The food was so so and the French fries were soggy and had no flavor. I probably wouldn't come back. But the trivia was cool.
