Excellent food. The Bistec ala Mexicana was so delicious! Service started exceptionally well but fizzled out after we received our entrees. We didn't see our waiter for over 30 minutes and went up front to get our check.

I ordered the carne asada and for the price it was the size of a can of coke and maybe 2 spoonfuls of rice on the side ??♀️ the carne asada had no seasoning and was cooked well done when I ordered medium…. I also didn’t recieve any salsa when I added it to my order. Judging by the owners responses to the other reviews left there’s no point in “giving another try” there’s way better options in the area.

We’ve been ordering from Taqueria Aurora since it opened, and it remains one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in west Aurora. Everything is good - we’ve tried something from almost every menu category at this point.The giant steak quesadilla is a favorite, as are the nachos with chorizo or al pastor. Tortas are great, tacos are great, sopes are excellent, gorditas are great, the list goes on. If you are there on a weekend, the carnitas are definitely worth ordering. Their tortilla chips are great, the red and green salsas are good. You really can’t go wrong here.The prices have gone up significantly over the years, but so has the cost of food, supplies, etc. You can find great Mexican at a lower cost at many other local spots, but if you’re dining in, the atmosphere at Taqueria Aurora can’t be beat.
Will never order from here again. The first time we tried this place it was lovely. Ordering through Uber eats with them has been a nightmare and part of the reason why I'm getting rid of the app altogether. The icing on the cake was my ordering breakfast and received three frozen steak tacos. It's clear no one cares about service in any of these restaurants nowadays.

40 min. before closing time 9:20pm, customers sitting in dining room and we were told only to go orders. They wouldn't seat us. To Denny's we go. 11-30-23 There was no miscommunication, ,my husband was told we could do take out only!
