We returned to Moretti's this week and had a lovely experience! We had Harrison as a server and he is truly a fantastic server. He was on top of everything. We are so happy we gave Moretti's another chance and we have reservations for next Tuesday already! The pizza was fantastic and the beer was so cold! ??

We have been regulars for a while. Tonight was abysmal. The bartenders could not have cared less about us. Food was just average tonight. Service was slow and impersonal. Bill was wrong. Took a long time to resolve. Wine was flat and we just left it. Non plus experience. Last time we come here on a Friday night. Bummer.

I reserved a table for an early dinner on a Friday evening for our party of 6. The reviews pointed at a staffing shortage, just like every other business is going through, so we reserved it for 5:00pm. We were seated quickly, we had 1 person in a wheelchair, their ramped entryway worked well (an automated door opener with appropriately spaced activation buttons would be helpful), had a polite and professional server who was training a new server. Appetizers arrived quickly, servers were attentive, the number of customers had filled the restaurant quickly and the arrival of our ordered meals got delayed by what I assume is a kitchen staff shortage? (Again, was anticipating it) The new manager was making his rounds, he stopped at our table and introduced himself. We mentioned our delayed meals, he shared that they were working on addressing the delays they've been experiencing. We wished him luck on the challenge before him, and he went on his way to other tables. Our food arrived soon afterwards, the food was very good, the price was fair, location is good, and when their staffing gets up to where they need it I see no reason why anyone would not add it to a local favorite place to repeatedly dine.

Reservations had us seated immediately. Pizza was served within 20 minutes of ordering; it was prepared very well with a thin crispy, tasty crust and a balanced amount of cheese and sauce.

Overall not a great experience. Everything was extremely slow and ended up having to ask them to pack up food before we were served because of slowness. Manager was not helpful and no one seemed to care that much. Drinks too about 10-15 min to arrive, appetizer took 20-25 and dinner about 30 min. We were seated at 4:20 and still waiting for dinner at 5:23, I finally said we had to leave, when we even told had told server earlier we had to be done by 5:30. The place was not busy. We paid $150 for pasta for a table for 6 that I had to warm up after the school concert. Extremely disappointing.

The dining room was dark. Good access. Food served fast. Too much cheese on pizza. Didn't use restroom.

When I asked about the Happy Hour menu items, the server had to take a picture of the beverage items on the computer to show me (not his fault. They weren't actually displayed anywhere). Please have it on display what items are part of it, as one time I ordered a house Moscato (which the Happy Hour advertises $4 house wines), but was told AFTER I received my bill that Moscato was not on the Happy Hour menu.

The only place to go in Barrington. Warm, owned by a family from Barrington. Very community involved. Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. Live music on the weekends that's a fun vibe.Parking: Easy parking in the giant Metra lot right next door or on street.

I have no idea why the reviews here are so bad. I have never physically been to the store but I always love to order there because there pizza is decent, and their chicken wings are amazing.
