My husband and I went there for a special anniversary celebration in September 2023 and loved it. Hadn't been there in a while and they did not disappoint. The weather was nice enough to sit on their patio - just a few sprinkles, but we had an umbrella over the table. Beautiful view of the golf course. Our server (Ally) was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the "porterhouse" pork chop - huge and perfectly cooked! I had one of the best petite filets I've had in a long time - so tender and flavorful. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary - amazing limoncello shortbread cake with blueberry chambord sauce. Wow!

This might have been an off day for everyone working.Paper printed menus were off center, and part of the menu was cut off. First impression, not very good.Ordered a margarita off their drink menu, it was undrinkable (I had 3 others in my party try it). came in a tiki glass which is not on theme for the drink.Another in our party ordered a glass of wine, and the bottle must have been old as it smelt like vinegar and tasted horrible.Ordered an appetizer - came out with our main entrees.Food was fine, nothing special at all.I don't recommend eating/drinking here.

The pub burger was excellent and flavorful! The chicken tenders were a bit lacking in flavor but the rest was good. Had baked potato soup as well and loved it! Very friendly servers

We had always thought the Oakwood Terrace was a hidden gem . However, after visiting the restaurant just recently, we were greeted with a new menu and elevated pricing to boot. Also, one of the favorite dishes, Shrimp and Grits, was eliminated from the new menu. We dined and still had a nice evening, just disappointed with the changes made to the menu and offerings. Based on the new prices, I'd have to retract my "Little Gem" comment and rank Oakwood to other run of the mill, over priced offerings in the NW Burbs. Dissapointing.

Unfortunately, the agents at Oak Terrace Grille displayed a lack of attentiveness during our visit. They seemed disinterested and failed to anticipate our needs or address our requests promptly. We often had to wait for extended periods to get their attention or have our orders taken, which significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.

Oak terrace grille is a great casual spot to take the family for reliable food and friendly, accommodating service.
We enjoyed a delicious prime rib dinner, served on Saturdays only. The prime rib was the absolute best I have ever had, not to mention the sides were all too tempting ! Chef does an amazing job overseeing and creating meals that will drive you back again and again!This restaurant is definitely one you should not miss...Dietary restrictions: Many GF options! One more is delicious than the next!

My colleagues and I had lunch here on a Friday and received excellent service. The waiter was very skilled and highly attentive without being obtrusive. The calamari was so delicious I could have made a meal out of it alone. We all chose a different house wine and we all liked them very much. The ambiance in the restaurant overlooking the golf course was comfortable and very pleasant with a cozy, manor house feel. The quality of the food was excellent and the cost extremely reasonable. Wonderful find and I look forward to returning.

Best Mai-Tais ever. Wonderful lunch. Tuna poke bowl was fresh and delicious. Mahi Mahi sandwich was juicy and delicious too. Staff was thoughtful and friendly. Look forward to going back.

This review is for the 2 pasta dishes we ordered tonight and I'm being extremely generous on the 3 star review. We were a party of 5 and 3 had the fish fry which looked very good. 2 of us had a sorry excuse for the Pasta Bolognese. This was not a Bolognese sauce and the 2 meatballs that accompanied this dish could have been golf balls. So tough and chewy. A lovely setting but do not order a pasta dish here.
