Organic Rootz is such a piece of sunshine in Barrington! Delicious smoothies and bowls, i've yet to try their food items but i will be sure to try them soon. Lots of local organic brands, an herb wall for all the herbalist out there, vitamins and oils, and great customer service. they're always friendly and go the extra mile during service.

Delicious and nutritious juice and smoothie joint. Excellent lentil soup! I always get the Green Vibe with elderberry and ginger. Has a small fridge case with bread, sprouts, eggs, and baked goods. Good source for New Chapter vitamins and local honey. Super nice people!

Every time I go there it's like I'm on a treasure hunt because they have so much to offer. I always feel like I have found something I missed last time. The owner and the staff are really friendly and you can tell that they really care about what they are doing. I'm not exaggerating when I say they have so much there. They offer sea moss unflavored and flavored. I personally like the mango. The tropical passion smoothie is really good amongst other smoothies they have. Recently they added kababs (grass fed and halal) to their menu. The kababs are out of this world and the best way to describe them is that you can tell they were made by someone's Mom. All of the ingredients in their offerings taste fresh and clean. They have a lot of different vitamins, reading materials, bee pollen, etc. Just go and see-they have something for everyone!

I really wanted to like this place as I follow an ayurvedic diet. The alkaline bowl I received was inedible. Aside from presenting like prison grul, the bismati rice was not cooked. Despite being soaked in soup, the rice crumbled to dust when I bit into each kernal.The taste of this soup was good. It tasted identical to the kitcheri that I make at home. The consistency look nothing like the picture on the menu and was rather unappetizing, on top of the uncooked rice. I had to throw it out and buy other food.
