“I've been here a couple times, the food is always good. But I think what makes this place stand out to me is the level of service. The wait staff is always attentive and constantly come back to check on you, not in an annoying way, but they have it down to a science it seems. They are never pushy and always friendly. It's a great place for you to be able to hang out with a few friends and grab a drink and a good meal.“

“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! “Nice quiet restaurant where I can finally have a conversation with my lovely wife . Decided to try this place on Valentine's day . Had a very good experience. We had the chopped house salad , surf and turf plate which turned out EXCELLENT! The casino clams were ok . So glad we tried the gelato and chocolate mouse cake ! They were very very Good ! Our waitress Olivia was great ! We will definitely be back !“

“Great neighborhood pub. Staff is so welcoming and helpful. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty for pub grub.On Friday or Saturday night after 4 pm, I can enjoy a nice salad and baked potato for under $7. My hubby likes the black bean burger and always finds something interesting to try from the craft beer menu.You can even bring your fur baby when the patio is open!“

“Smaller than I’d expected. But well organized and comfortable. Had the ale house burger with fries - the fries are the reason for the 4 stars on food and not 5. They tasted fine but were soggy with grease. Perhaps that’s their style- not for me. The burger was great. Good perfectly. Beer selection is amazing. People are super nice. Service was spot on quick and attentive. Highly recommend. Hope they crisp up the fries some day!!! Will be back. Soon.“

“Been coming in here for lunch for the past 3 weeks. The mix drinks they have are super refreshing, and the beer selection is plentiful. Jackie the bartender is very friendly, and welcoming. The lunch menu has something for everyone. Wings burgers ect ect. I don’t like to eat too heavy during lunch so I get salads. They’re salads are very fresh, no rotting greens, and the cucumbers and onions are also fresh. Great place to have an afternoon drink or mid day lunch“

“I wish I lived closer. I absolutely love coming here. The service is excellent. The good is very good. They won because every keeps their expectations low because it's bar food, but it's actually very good. And the vibe here is just fun! I had one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The Thai Spinach salad. Soooo good and spicy! Loved it! We also had the Spinach artichoke dip, which was fabulous. My 17 yr old son had the 8pc wings and a burger with a sunnyside up egg on it. He loved it and said it was the best burger he has ever had.Vegetarian options: There are options, but it's not a separate menuParking: The parking is essentially the end of the Costco parking, so it can be crowded.“

They always have non-standard specials, which shows that the menu does rotate on a semi-weekly basis.What I had had was marginal, but that was late; right before the kitchen closed. So, it could be on me. I would eat there again to give a fair and honest opinion.“

“We walked into the place and were greeted by multiple people. Very welcoming! We chose a table and got a couple beers. They have an extensive beer list - about a dozen on tap and over a hundred bottles and cans. We both ordered hamburgers. I got the one with the grilled onions and my husband got the basic. Hamburgers were great, one of the best in the area. They come with a choice of fries or tots. The fries were over-seasoned and hard, not very good. The tops were crispy and nicely seasoned, but mushy inside, like mashed potatoes. I guess the tots were better, but I didn't love them. The service was great! Loved our server. “I came in the other day after a long day of work with a healthy appetite and Crazy Fox didn’t disappoint. I sat at the bar and was greeted and treated with great service from Jeanette and Marissa. I started with an amazing Angel’s Envy Old Fashioned. Since I was so hungry I proceeded to put in an order of Nachos, which were put in no time and they were fantastic! For dinner I went with the Chicken Guac Wrap, so much flavor.I will definitely be back. Happy hour crafts are only $5!!! Located right across from the Arcada Theater, this place will keep me coming back for pre and post game for concerts.“

“Love love this place stopped for a quick pick me up moment we had craft beer on can crystal lake brewery and lagunitas little sumpin sumpin both are very good beers CLB is a bit citrusy and light. Lagunitas will give you a buzz ? we had beef taco brisket to share wow taco’s were really tasty the corn tortilla was soft to bite into brisket meat was well seasoned with little pieces of onion as garnish and with side of salsa . They now offer breakfast we will have to check it out soon. Great place to sit at the bar for a drink and watch sports. very friendly service as always delicious food and drinks ?“

“I came to Chrissy's for a bag tournament. It is a small bar/restaurant. The bar and restaurant are divided with a large open doorway.I ordered the pretzels with cheese and the Italian beef egg rolls. The food was standard, fine.I didn't order any drinks.There is limited handicap parking, but there is lot parking in front of Chrissy's and around the corner of the mall.There are only two single restrooms for males and females.I might go back for dinner someday and try an entree or two.Kid-friendliness: Not really a great place to keep kids entertained. Large screen tv's are readily visible in all areas, but most play sports or news.Wheelchair accessibility: Doors must be manually opened.Restrooms are large enough for a wheelchair.“

“Got the wrong g pizza. It was very crowded and laod. Ordered sausage and mush . Got ham bacon onions mush and pepperoni. No sausage. I can't eat pepperoni due to meds I'm on picking the off didn't work . It was late . Oh well mistakes happen .not end of world and my kid liked it . “Been trying to find a good burger at a good price in Palatine for 18 months. Finally found it on July 25, 2023 at TJ O'Briens Bar & Grill! Woo hoo! The place is humble, and the décor is what you'd expect to see at a local bar. However, if you're more interested in good food than fancy ambiance then this is the place for you. I got the "O" burger with fries for under $10 and it was by far the tastiest burger I've had in all of Palatine by far! You'll pay over $15 for a burger at Tap House across the street and it's not even close to what you'll get here. The tomato, lettuce and onion were super fresh (not the wilty mess you get at some places), the burger seasoned and delicious, and the fries crispy and good. My husband got the beef with onion rings and said the onion rings were the best he's ever had! Kudos to their chef! I'm not sure why other reviewers haven't figured out how good the food is here, but that's okay...more for me! I'm gonna be back.“
