Oh Boy

The food was nasty and bland. Not worth the wait for me at least. Chillaquilles were my choice and that was my mistake.

It was a small but pretty nice diner in the middle of the Batavia industrial area. Prices are very good for the portion size. It's similar or better than Country House for half the cost.Kid-friendliness: Basic kids menu for $5 a meal

Food good, price great, and the service awesome! Weird I know it's in an industrial park but you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I am so pleased to write this review for Batavia Diner2. This intimate yet trucker friendly environment offers delicious comfort meals with mexican flare. Their breakfast burrito is excellent. Treat yourself to this out of the way yet just around the corner spot in the Batavia warehouse/business district.

First thing first, taking Kirk Rd fr Fabyan is the LONG way around. The further we were driving into the industrial area, the more I had to wonder if it was in a business building. I just couldn't imagine free-standing diner in the middle of an industrial park. But stay strong and keep going. Once you arrive, you will think, "huh"'. It's not much on the outside but once you're in, you'll be greeted warmly by Blanca! Most likely it's Jose on the grill cooking up something delicious. My friend ordered the Topochico hamburger lunch special and LOVED it! The only thing she would do different is order it without ketchup. She felt like it took away from the flavors of the grilled fajita veggies. First bite she took, she just moaned. She said it was so juicy and flavorful! Now you know, if you're wondering what to try. Me, I was not in the best place to order something so heavy since I had some tummy issues earlier in the AM. Tuna platter totally hit the spot with the tomatoes, cubed cukes, and warm, grilled pita bread. I like my cottage cheese savory so that was mixed in a bit with the tuna salad. I added more pepper due to the mild flavor, but hands down, I would order this again. Plenty of fresh, ripe fruit (pineapple/cantalope) on either side of the cottage cheese. Bottom line: worth the haul for this hidden (seriously) gem for tasty eats at amazing prices! Their hours are 7 - 2 PM / Mon thru Fri which is perfect for the employees in the surrounding businesses.

I would describe this place as very warm & welcoming. I was greeted immediately, the place is so warm that even the customers smile with you. I ordered the Huevo Mexicana, I expected it to be a little more seasoned, nothing salt & pepper couldn’t fix.

Don't have to go far for fantastic breakfast or lunch. We are fortunate they are right down the street from our shop.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here, but as the most recent reviews show, the service and quality have not fallen off even the slightest bit since I last stopped in. I used to work right down the street and would go there every Friday for a patty melt (best in the area) and breakfast once a month. The family that owns this place is awesome. So friendly and warm. I wouldn’t be surprised if the daughter who knew me by name, still remembers me even after a few years.
