Excellent old school diner vibe. Run by the same family for decades. The Poorboy's are great and the root beer is amazing. The owners/staff are super friendly and accommodating.

What a blast from the past! Felt like we tripped into a time portal to 1978. Great burger too.

This was one of the most extraordinary dining experiences of my life. The service was impeccable, the food was exquisite, and the ambiance was incredible.

This place is amazing it's a local spot that me and my friends go to right after school. The price on the food is amazing and you can't beat it, and the food is very good. Would recommend to anyone going through the town. The two burgers two fries for 5 dollars is a go to for me and my friends..

I almost always come to this location. The assistant manager is so nice and friendly!! He is truly the reason I come here. All other employees I’ve encountered have been super friendly as well and my order is always hot and accurate.

CASH ONLY! Elms was great! I would totally come back the food was really good (personally I liked the burger the best) the home made root beer was delicious, we got a root beer float after the food and it was really good. A burger, hot dog, pulled pork bbq sandwich, two orders of fries, two root beers and two root beer floats cost like $22 the price is worth driving from a little bit of a distance. Again they don’t take credit card but if you have some old school money and want an old school meal made with care go here!!!

I have been going to the Elms since I was a little girl growing up in Batavia. They had wonderful bar-b-que, homemade root beer and great soft serve ice cream. That was probably under different management. Things have gone gradually downhill and it shows. I went there with my daughter-in-law and two granddaughters tonight. We ordered two hot dogs, a large order of fries, a bar-b-que sandwich, a burger, order of fried mushrooms, two root beers, and 2 dishes of ice cream. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took at least a half hour for our food to arrive. The lousy 5 mushrooms were burned, the hamburger was like carboard, the bar-b-que was lukewarm, and the fries were small pieces like they came from the bottom of the bag. When I told the owner that the mushrooms were burned, she said they were not. I think I know a burned mushroom when I see it. I feel sorry for the owners. She is very old, her husband died not long ago, and their son struggles to do his work. I will never go the Elms again. It was a terrible experience and I truly feel that the owners should close up the place...FINALLY!!
