If I have any advice, stick with pizza and beer. Pizza is really good and we got stuffed garlic bread which was FANTASTIC. Service is crazy slow (probably depending on who you get) so pickup is a good option.

What a wonderful experience! Was part of a private event/60th surprise party. Staff were so amazing! They really helped pull it off! From start to finish the complete evening was perfect! The food was out of this world! Appeared as if the owner was on hand to make sure everything went according to plan. So glad we were able to be part of this well run party!

#1 The food was delicious. I am a celiac and had to order a gluten free pizza. I was at a small gathering of family. Usually it's hard to enjoy food like pizza but this restaurant nailes it. #2 The servers, bartender and even the young man who took our family photos well, you were all terrific. Thank you for a much needed great time. Our family has been through a lot. ? Thanks so much. You earned this 5 ?!!!

Had to get a pizza pie on pi day! Our plan was to sit outside and enjoy the view but the weather had a different plan. We still had a very nice view of the river and nature. We each had a beer- good selection. The pan pizza was delicious! Medium was certainly too much for two people. And the price could not be beat! This was our first time but will certainly be back when the weather is better and we can take advantage of the patio.

What has happened to Pal Joey’s?The pizza has become flavorless. The pizza sauce had no flavor; there wasn’t enough of the sauce on the pizza; and crust (for thin) was so rigid that when picking up slices, they didn’t even bend. That’s how rigid they were. Another member of our party commented, “This is like Domino’s.” OUCH!We also ordered the Red Bell Pepper Garlic Bread, which came to the table room temperature and the fontina cheese not melted. We couldn’t even taste the garlic.I am of the vintage that Pal Joey’s is the place where you took your prom date to. Now granted, the last pizza I ordered from here was when they were on Randall Road. Apparently much has changed moving back into their Downtown Batavia location.Come on! You can do better than this!

It was our first time at this location, we loved the West Chicago one and it is missed. We went for a dinner of 20 and got a private room which was really nice. The pizza was good but I personally prefer thin crust. The toppings were fresh and the dough was good...just too much bread for me. There was live music on Friday and that made it more special. We'll definitely go back and I'm hoping the thin crust is just like the other location. And, I may even book my parents 70th birthday dinner there....great price!

Had a great dinner tonight with our friends; our server was very attentive, despite the fact that she was also serving a gigantic party in a separate room on the other side of the building. I thought the food was really good; I ordered the Pasta Mediterranean and it had a hearty portion of shrimp and scallops. The sauce was really flavorful without being overly salty, and it had a little bit of a peppery kick. Absolutely enjoyed it. Only drawback of the evening was the aforementioned gigantic party in the other room, which was more than half elementary school aged boys. Maybe a team party? In any case, the useless adults in that group apparently supposed everyone else in the building had shown up specifically to provide free childcare for their spawn. The kids were allowed full run of the restaurant, and I do mean "run". Despite repeated requests from management and other staff to rein in their tiny hellions, the parental units continued their drinks and conversation, willfully ignoring the situation. I absolutely do not blame the employees or managers at Pal Joey's; they tried. Several times. Unfortunately they were no match for the selfishness and utter ineptitude of the people in that group who insisted on procreation. If you bring your kids to a restaurant, keep the chaos at your own table. The restaurant's staff aren't interested in babysitting; neither are their other patrons.
