Waaaaay overpriced and meat is more gristle than steak

We drove over from Aurora to get chicken quesadillas and their terrific green salsa. After being told they only had their mild red salsa, I asked for that. There was hardly any chicken in my quesadilla, very little sour cream and NO salsa! Won't be going back to support them anytime soon.

This is the fourth time to Batavia Salsa Verde since they opened. Every time I go is with the hopes that they improve. Today being like the other times. The food is gross. I got nachos because the tacos aren't great. The ground beef on my nachos was dry and looked cooked after being frost bitten. The sour cream to put on it was hot and soupy like their beans and guacamole. The only reason for one star versus none is the horchata is good. But a beverage isn't a reason to return to a restaurant. Not going to return ever. Dog food shouldn't look more appealing.

This my first time coming to this one but the one in Yorkville very good, so maybe they all ain't the same but in Batavia food was very greasy n it made me sick to the stomach I'm so done with these Mexican food, I have nothing against I have Mexican in my family but it seems like to me they do something bad to the food, I'm so done with trying to support them I'm just gonna stay at home and make it myself or get my daughter in law family make me food cause I love there food but it's always bad the hotter the better ??

This restaurant is no doubt one of the coolest restaurants in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am very happy. They hold their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they serve. You are always happy with this place. Very recommended.

Went for taco Tuesday and the girl at the drive through seemed bothered by me ordering food and didn’t repeat my order. Got home and the food was subpar. The chips weren’t even salted and the tacos were just bad. It’s unfortunate that this place isn’t good as it is right in my neighborhood. I haven’t been there in a long time, now I remember why.

Certainly a spot worth trying, the food is good and well prepared, the cost is affordable and it is constantly well kept in here. Keep up the good work.

My mother and I did some shopping around the area, and we were really wanting some Mexican food. I found Salsa Verde on the internet, and it had fairly good reviews so we decided to check it out. When we arrived, we discovered that it was taco Tuesday so we went for it. We got the beef and chicken tacos. We also got chips and salsa as well as the street corn. The tacos were good, but nothing spectacular. The chips were a great pairing to the salsa bar, which offered many salsas, sauces, and other items. The green sauce was quite interesting, but I’m not sure I would want it on an enchilada or burrito. The street corn was really good. I also ordered a glass of horchata; it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I think I could have drunk another 2 glasses of it. I would like to try this place again, but next time, I would order something like a burrito or enchiladas. I think that although the tacos were a good deal, there other items might have been better. I would recommend Salsa Verde for the horchata alone, but the food is fairly good too.

The worst tacos I’ve had..... i could get better tasting tacos from Taco Bell.... steak was tasteless like no one seasoned it the beef tacos were like water and had no flavor either..... let alone the only thing they do is cook the meat.... i mean if I’m paying for you to Make me a taco that means the entire thing not just meat

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! My favorite Mexican food spot, I've been going here for around 4-5 years and have not had a single bad order! Love the cochinita pibil with some salsa verde or hot tomatillo, guac also very good! Never had a bad experience here, employees also very nice, and love to support a business started by immigrants.
