I can understand that some people are or have been unhappy with their experience here. I have the same feelings about other places myself. However, I ordered the Spicy Chicken and it was, not hot in heat but pleasing in taste. It was abundant in breaded chicken pieces, bite sized at that as there were very few vegetables added, a necessity for lower priced entrees, in this dish. I would have been more than satisfied if I only had half the rice (cup over pint) as I only wanted enough of that to absorb some of the coating of the chicken. For something that I have never ordered before, I was quite pleased. An added delight during non-peak periods and when he's available is their young son who will ring up your order. His conduct would put many adults to shame. I think it's also important to note that ingredients/flavorings/preparation vary fro business to business so keep searching until you find a place that pleases you. They have been around for many years and it says something about their quality in that they are still thriving in a nearly deserted shopping plaza. While they too may disappoint me one day, they haven't yet if my latest purchase is any indication.

I've been going to China Town since High School, and their quality of food has never changed! Customer service is always great, and the food is always delicious. If you're not satisfied, they aim to ensure you leave their establishment with a big smile and a full stomach!

We just ordered and we were very disappointed. We had to throw it all out and order from someplace else. The food had no flavor and we received the wrong food. Not worth the wait or price.

This place has been around for something like 40 years. I've been going there for nearly 30. Prices are cheap, the amount you get is awesome. Anywhere that fills me up for less than 8 bucks is beyond great for me.

My husband picked up the food and after our terrible experience at China King we were scared to buy Chinese food in Illinois again, however we read the reviews and China Town restaurant sounded good. I liked their menu options. They had Chicken Mei Fun something I haven't found to often on Chinese menus. I was excited so I ordered that, along with my usual Chicken and Broccoli, Chicken Egg Foo Young, Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken and something we had never tried before Blackened Pepper Chicken. They were all delicious. Large portions. They didn't skimp on the rice, or the chicken. What was even better, was that you could easily identify all the ingredients. No mystery meat. No celery fillers in place of the main ingredients. China Town Restaurant had salted and flavored everything well and it wasn't greasy. China King should take a lesson from this restaurant and their Chef. China Town thank you for making our Chinese food great. The only downside was they were busy and this the order took very long to make but it was worth the wait.

Combination fried rice was on point! Very large servings for the given price. Be aware prices listed in the posted images are not updated.General Tsao's chicken was sweet and again, large serving (enough to feed 4). I recommend taking to-go if you want left overs.
