This place is a very solid 4 stars, there isn't much this place doesn't have: good food, hot waitresses, great atmosphere, cold drinks, live music later in the evening so you can still talk at dinner.

Came for late lunch with my elderly mother. Service was extremely slow for amount of guests. Food was ok, service was awful, including having to go ask server for bill while she sat at side bar eating. Then had to take it to her again so we could leave. Also confused by adtl charges beyond menu prices. $8.50 for 2 small teas? All menu items charged higher than menu stated. $51 bill for 2 for lunch is crazy. First & last visit.

I rented out the 2nd floor space for my dad's surprise birthday party yesterday and it could not have gone any better. Renae was very responsive and flexible planning the menu, our bartender Chris was fantastic and all of the food was incredible. I highly recommend looking at this space if you are planning a private event.

I went to Copper Fire yesterday on a field trip for Belleville West Honors Civics. We sat near the back close to the kitchen. We only had an hour-long lunch, and didn't get seen for 25 minutes. Our server Jo, was very rude upon meeting her. She made multiple unnecessary comments, which made the environment tense. l informed her that we were on a time crunch to be courteous, and she replied that we would get our food promptly. My group and I had to leave the restaurant by 1:10 pm. I didn't receive my food until 1:08, and we got there at 12:20. I ordered a burger. Not only was it not how I ordered it, it was cold. After the terrible experience, we attended school the next day, only to find out that Copper Fire wanted to press charges against us for dining and dashing. My group didn't leave the building until 1:30 because we were waiting for everyone to pay before leaving. The person that was accused of dining and dashing, paid in CASH and got change back. I'm confused as to how he would dine in Dash, but get change back. Her service was vastly different to us vs other customers there. I feel like we were racially profiled since our group was all people of color. We saw how she interacted with the white customers and the difference in service was too clear to ignore. I will NEVER come back.
