I had my engagement party here. The food and drinks my fiancé and I ordered were excellent. This was party of about 30 guests so service was slightly slow, but it was expected with it being a large party. Overall everything was great! Service was really kind!

We had dinner tonight for my birthday at Grüv and it was wonderful!! The food was delicious and the service was great! It's upscale at an affordable price. We've been there a few times for drinks (chocolate martinis) but hadn't eaten there before tonight. We will definitely go back!!

This place is such a gem! We were sad when the place that used to be in this space closed, and when it reopened as The Grüv, we were cautiously optimistic. They have exceeded our expectations, big time! This is the best pizza I've ever had, anywhere! It is so tasty, and perfectly cooked, ever single time we go here, which is a lot. The salads are spectacular too. We recently had the beet and arugula salad which was great, and we've enjoyed every other one we've tried. A few weeks ago, we took a chance and tried the barbecue bao bun appetizer (how could a pizza place make good bao?) and it was incredibly delicious. Super nice people too! We love Taylor, the bartender, who always turns us on to the rotating seasonal drink specials. It's a beautiful space too, both the front and back rooms. Our favorite dinner spot in Belleville! Check it out!

Every time I stop in it's lovely. Tonight "for instance" I didn't want to cook - and they hooked me up with some jambalaya! Excellent. The menu and staff are amazing. They make specialty drinks that aren't just thrown together - so it's worth the wait - it's a small place - just enjoy!
I've been here often the past year and am always happy with the food and service. Tonight I met with friends for dinner and drinks and we were all very pleased! I had the strawberry goat cheese salad, which is a favorite of mine. I also had pizza, as did a couple others. As usual, the crust was cooked to perfection. Although there were 9 of us, the service was very good. The atmosphere is what drew me to this place originally, but they have such great food and drinks I'm already looking forward to going back!

Checked out Gruv a week ago. Ambience was nice and food was good. They had a live music which was good but a bit loud. Our group was in the back of the room away from the singer and it was hard to hear conversation at our table. I recommend relocating the heater near the back entrance since it impacted getting in/out the door for our handicap friend.
