Made Tacos out of leftover Brisket and Turkey from our wedding. Also, a side of potato salad! Yummy! We also had green beans. Everything was delicious! We are sure going to miss Hicks BBQ!

Definitely recommend for some good hometown local bbq! I got the horseshoe? Loaded with fries and great flavor. I added some more bbq sauce to my plate but it was just as good with what it came with. Can't go wrong with a side of sweet tea either!

Visited Hick's for the first time yesterday. It was some of the best barbeque I've ever had! Tried a little of everything and it was all great. Looking forward to going back!

This place does not disappoint. I only gave 3 stars because I haven't tried the full bbq menu. But what I did try was fabulous. I went on Saturday and the special is brisket tacos. They were out of brisket but I opted for the chopped rib meat instead. Delicious. I will update stars once I taste the brisket and have more of the side options. Rib Meat Tacos were very balanced with flavor. I loved that the shell was large and crunchy. The slaw was fresh and it had a sweet tangy sauce on it. I will be a regular for the tacos. I had a baked potato for my side. And it was a good deal for how large it was. The rib meat had a good smoke on it also and was flavorful without sauce. Lots of people were in line that day getting meals for their family so the market tells me the bbq place is good. Tip: Be prepared to go through the drive-thru. Sometimes they close the walk-in portion due to short staffing. Let's show our restaurants some grace as they have all done so great keeping us fed and entertained during this pandemic.

The best pork steaks I've had in the area!! Had the burger and bacon ranch cheese fries yesterday.....all I can say I'm getting another today!!!! Bonus they have an drive-thru. I can tell you, if you want real good smoked meat in the area, go here!

This is my favorite BBQ in Belleville. Maybe even the STL area. There is another place down the road that begins with a B, but it can be hit or miss. After ten or so visits to Hicks I'm never disappointed. The turkey sandwich is my favorite. The cucumber salad fantastic. My son’s only complaint is that they gave him too much pulled pork :)

We stopped by Hicks for a quick bite. We only tried the bulled pork sandwich, slaw and corn bites. The pork was GREAT. Actual BBQ, the meat had the necessary smoke ring and smoke flavor. The bun was a large kaiser roll, which was necessary to hold the meat and did not fall apart from the moist pork. 10/10 A local suggested the corn bites. Had no idea what to expect, WOW. Cream corn deep fried. Eat them immediately while they are still hot and crispy. Yum!!! We were not there long, but we found all the staff to be super friendly and accommodating. When we are back in the area, we will definitely return to Hicks!

The bbq wasn't cooked properly, the baked beans were hard, the mac n cheese was watery, and the cucumber salad had soggy cucumbers and was drenched in chopped onions. The only positive thing I can say was the lemonade was pretty good.

We were in town visiting family, saw this place on Trip Advisor and thought we would give them a try. I had the pulled pork and my wife had the Turkey. They both were delicious and the portions were very generous. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did.
