The waiter gave a detailed "tour" of the buffet area and specialty food. It was almost like listening to a tour guide. He was that good. I was not only amazed by the wide variety, but also delighted to the delicious choices.

This restaurant is outstanding. They are known for their fried chicken and that honor is well deserved. Our family enjoyed the chicken served family style and all you can eat. The mashed potatoes are excellent along with the white gravy. And the meal is reasonably priced for what you get. I highly recommend. And our server, Nicole S. made the evening even more special. So accommodating and friendly. She is tops!!!!

I came to this restaurant to meet up with my girl friend and have lunch. She had their famous fried chicken and I had the salmon. All I can say is that, we left with a happy stomach! It was an enjoyable one!

We took the recommendations for the Shrine Restaurant from Trip Advisor and we were totally disappointed. It was a Friday night around 6:15 and the restaurant had only 2 tables going, and that should have warned us. We were seated immediately and our server, Nicole stopped with menu’s and took drink orders. We told her it was our first visit and she gave us the run down on the menu and buffet. I decided on the chicken buffet with salad bar and my wife ordered off the menu and got the Yankee Pot Roast and a side salad. The salad bar was pretty good with lots of options the buffet had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, rolls and 6 different kinds of soups. The chicken wasn’t bad, but the potatoes were like paste and the gravy was just awful, the beans and corn tasted old and the rolls were so hard and dried out I passed on them. The soup options sounded good and I chose the White Chile which was way over seasoned. All of the soups and gravy had been sitting for so long they all had a dried layer of crust over the top of them. My wife’s pot roast was mashed potatoes with the meat in the middle she said it just okay, nothing special but it wasn’t bad either. The bright side of our visit was Nicole, she did an excellent job of checking on us throughout our meal. At the end when she brought the bill she asked how the meal was. Now I didn’t eat anything but the salad and chicken and my plate was full of the potatoes, corn, beans and soup. So I’m sure she noticed. I told her the sides were in desperate need of attention and the other than the chicken the meal was bad. She said she would pass it on to the manager. Well no manager came out so, that’s got to tell you something. I don’t normally post a very negative review, but this place should last till the end of the year, no customers, food that is just terrible and management that doesn’t seem to care. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
