EK Cakery (read: Erica) was the PERFECT choice for our wedding cake! Erica is kind, collaborative, and did an outstanding job taking our ideas, making a vision, and delivering a gorgeous cake at a very reasonable cost for our wedding day! Setting up a tasting was easy, and with so many excellent flavors and frosting options it helped to narrow down what we are looking for. Spectacular texture and taste in the cake, we and the guests were very impressed! Love the professionalism, timeliness of communication, and willingness to adapt to deliver a spectacular product.

My fiancé and I had an appt scheduled this past Thursday and when we got to the place there was no one there and it looked like the place was not open. I called and left and message and have not heard back yet. I understand there could have been an emergency happen or she was sick, but I was not contacted about the appt for cake tasting being cancelled. Overall was just frustrated and bummed out cause we were looking forward to trying the cakes.

If you are looking for a wedding cake, go with ERICA! Erica made my engagement cake, bridal shower cake, and wedding cake. She went above and beyond and fulfilled my perfect visions for each cake. I remember my first time working with her, and I told her I wanted something to fit my outdoor theme with the addition of a heart with our initials that resembled a tree carving. It was so cute! I LOVE her cakes! So I knew at that point I could trust her for all of my other events. I also ordered an array of cupcakes for my wedding.Not to mention, she is the absolute sweetest. From the moment, I first walked in for my cake tasting, she made me feel right at home. I love her unique flavors for all her desserts. I now live in North Carolina and crave some of her desserts all the way from here. I called to have macarons delivered to my mother for her birthday since I live out of town and Erica was communicative and was able to put together a dozen on extremely short notice. She grabbed some she had for a pop up sale, boxed them up with a bow, and delivered the next day. I am so grateful for her flexibility and helping me gift a sweet treat to my mom since I couldn't do so in person.

I can’t recommend EK Cakery enough! Erica is such a joy to work with, and her treats are absolutely delicious. My guests were raving about how yummy the cupcakes and cookies were. While I was far too overwhelmed in the moment to truly enjoy the cake my husband and I cut, I went home later to cut it and freeze and couldn’t help a “Wow, that’s delicious” from coming out!

I stopped in for some last minute goodies for my family to enjoy for Mothers Day. I got 6 delicious cupcakes and some macaroons. I loved them all but my favorite was the carrot cupcake and my daughter loved the birthday cupcake with the edible butterfly. ?We definitely will be going back!
