Brought my wife here on a date one summer night. Cocktails were amazing! Chips and dip were on fire! So good! We just went for drinks but they had a lot of interesting foods that we will have to come back and try. The margarita flight was amazing! I really wanted to try the guava margarita but didn't wanna get too drunk. So good! We will def be back!

La Costa Bora is...* Expensive, yet tasty for that seafood craving!* The tacos are a must try too!* Service for waiting for food to-go orders, or sitting and eating at the restaurant was good.* As for the ambiance, I would like to see how it is during their busier times and seeing what kind of events they provide (I'll change this review when/if this experience comes to be).* Overall tasty dishes at an above average price.

Back again and this time we tried the trio de ceviche. This could easily be an entree, there was so much food on the plate. And the seafood is super fresh! Also had chicken enchiladas which were decadent. Finally got to have a Michelada as well. Everything is tasty, super fresh and a great value if you ask me. This is now a regular stop when in the area. Terrific food. Tried La Costa Bora after visiting the Belvedere area for 10+ years. There are lots of great Mexican restaurant in town and Costa Bora can be added to the list. I had their fish taco and their shrimp taco. I also ordered a fish ceviche tostada and a side order of pinto beans in their broth or frijoles del olla. All the seafood, including my partner's was fresh tasting. There was a not a hint of fishy smell in any of our dishes. The fish, which was white fish was moist and flavorful and sautéed with poblano peppers and onions. The shrimp were plump and also moist and tender. The tacos could benefit from some cabbage or some sort of crunch and a salsa. The server quickly remedied it by bringing me two small containers of their delicious green and red salsas. These salsas by the way ought to be served with the warm, well seasoned chips that came shortly after placing our order. The fish ceviche was also white fish and served in chunks marinated in like along with tomatoes and onions. Delicious. The beans, a preparation not often found in your Mexican restaurant reminded me of my mom's which I miss more than anything. This place has a small but varied menu. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes along with the many different "micheladas" also available for order. Worth a stop.

My gf and her family have a lake house up here and we went out for an early dinner. The service, freshness, and quality of food is amazing!I'd recommend this La Costa Bora in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our dinner here tonight. The service was very friendly. The michelada flight was really good. The food was also quite tasty. It is not a very fancy restaurant but it was clean and the menu was good. We will return sometime.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in downtown Belvidere. . The service is great and the staff is friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. We had the shrimp enchiladas and carne asada. The shrimp enchiladas were absolutely fantastic. The Carne Asada tasted like it just came off the grill. The guacamole is so fresh. - Highly recommend!

Too bad the meats are in Spanish online... Was looking for steak burritos and tacos. Was looking for a good Mexican restaurant for take out... Tried 4 in town and struck out. I'll keep on looking.

We are already planning on when we are coming back. Our waitress April was super sweet and attentive. Our food came out super quick. We got the 2lb camarones cucaracha, 1 person parrillada, guacamole with chips and salsa, horchatas and the beso del diablo drinks. The cucarachas had a great flavor, but really spicy, highly recommend getting them but asking for milder sauce (which we were told we can do in the future). The Parrillada has a great mix of seafood and great chipotle sauce, best part of that was the crab legs and octopus! Salsa, Guac, and Horchata was delicious. The beso del diablo drink had jalapeños and strawberries. Loved it. Worth the price.

I tried to give this place a chance. I usually go to El molcajete across the street but they closed early this night. I always order the same thing(shrimp enchiladas with red sauce non-spicy). I paid almost $30 for this take out meal and when I got it, it was so hot I couldn't even taste the flavor. Normally if it's a bit hot I will try to eat it anyway but I couldn't this time. So I called to ask them if they can please make me another plate that was not so hot. I really wanted to give them a chance. They told me the batch they made was accidentally made extra spicy and there was nothing they could do about it. Nothing! No credit for another day, no I'd there something else we can get for you in place of it...nothing. That could be the reason why I never see this place as full as the restaurant across the road. I have always been treated respectfully at El molcajete and I am a loyal customer that gets food from there often. Do yourself a favor...just go next door. Better food and way better service.
