Quick Version: 4.5/5! Awesome place!Full Version:I honestly love this place so much! Such a great improvement for belvidere! Only problem that prevents the 5 stars is that they make small mistakes with their food. What I mean is that, in both of the times going there, they screwed up my sushi rolls (the ingredients on the menu description were not the roll). The first time I ordered a raw roll with yellowtail and I got normal tuna (which was still fantastic but still kinda annoying). The second time I got a take out roll (the “Crunchy Roll”) and they had put cream cheese in roughly half the rolls. I’m not trying to diss all those California Roll lovers, but I can barely tolerate CHEESE CAKE for cry out loud! So needless to say I had 0 interest in those tainted by my arch enemy cream cheese. Really wasn’t that bad as my family most of the ones will the cream cheese. So like I said really awesome place, building, and location! Just small things deducing.Overall 4.5/5Pictures show the cream cheese

I worked for them for a month and they fired me with no other cause other than screwing me out of $700 in tips. The owner is classic for doing this. They also did it to my cousin who worked at sampson sprinkles. Then they waited a month to pay me. They ate thieves and their kitchen was disgusting. Dont eat there.

The atmosphere is a little off. The staff is friendly, but aside from that, the sushi and pizza we ordered did not taste good to me. However, if you do go, the Crab Rangoon was delicious!Parking: There is a parking strip right across from the establishment.

Good food, nice drink selection, friendly service. Love the patio - dog friendly!

Food is good, but just order it to go. The “service” is terrible. We didn’t have a waiter/ it was a self service concept, but no one let us know this. We found this out after waiting some time for drink refills after almost done with our pizza. There is no self-serve drink station so I went up to the bar to ask for a refill mid chew. The bar tender said she was going to give me a to go cup since they were closing. I had just told her that I didn’t know we had to get our own drinks and that I wanted something quickly so my food could go down. (In my opinion, it would have been quicker for her to just refill my cup that i had already brought up.) Before the pizza, we had ordered sushi rolls and crab rangoon. After each item was dropped off, first the crab rangoon in a to-go bag, then 10 minutes later, the sushi in to-go containers, no one asked how everything tasted or if they could get us anything else. After the sushi, I had to stop her as she walked away for some soy sauce, but the look on her face and energy gave annoyance. Which is why after a guy came out with the pizza and quickly walked away, I didn’t bother asking him for plates, so we just ate it on a napkin. At one point, the bar tender came up to us to let us know they were closing while still eating. As we walked up to pay, there were 2 men at the bar drinking. I asked the “server” while paying what time the bar closed and she said the restaurant closed at 9. I asked, “oh, but what about the bar, she said “the whole restaurant closed at 9”, and I said “oh” and turned towards the 2 men and the bar tender who came up to us earlier to let us know they were closing. She then says, “they are just finishing up their drinks”. It looked like to me the bar tender was getting them another drink. This was a VERY bizarre and unwelcoming experience- coming from someone who worked as a server in the past and who enjoys new restaurants. There were no smiles and it had a very cold “get the hell out” energy. Sad to say as I want locally owned restaurants to thrive.

Great place for large groups to get together. It is serve yourself as they don't have the staff to wait on tables. We were okay with that. The staff they have are very nice.

The food is terrible. Might as well make the drive to spider sushi for some better food. No table service and food is disgusting. Don’t normally write reviews but I just had to for this terrible restaurant.

I wish I had known that there is no table service. After that, stayed optimistic until our veggie tempura came. It was soggy, greasy and tasted like everything in the fryer. They remade it, which was appreciated. However, I feel they are overstretched with two menus and not enough staff.

I haven’t been here since they opened and decided to give it another try. Taste is not that great plus every time I pick up the sushi it crumbles. Let’s just say I rather buy sushi from a grocery store :/

This is one of our favorite places to eat in town! Really love their sushi- my wife is vegetarian so we always get the Veggie Roll, although we have tried the Vegan Roll and the Deep Fried Vegan roll. I am not a vegetarian however, so I am interested in trying their other options. Mochi is amazing and we even tried their Japanese sodas. Very yummy! Will be back!

Best crab Rangoon I’ve ever had

We love the sushi, never had a bad experience. The brick oven pizza place was extremely disappointing. Expensive, but they have an extensive selection of gourmet pizzas, so you feel like it's justified. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful for a date night or night out with the family. Tonight we spent $65 for two pizzas (online order for pickup). We live about 5 minutes away. The website said it would take 30-35 minutes. We got there 15 minutes early and noticed we had already gotten a text saying the order was ready. When we went in it was pretty dead and the cashier was talking with the one customer ahead of us. So, we waited.....and waited. Several other employees came out and looked at us and walked away. Others socialized. When we finally were handed our pizzas they were cold. The flavor was very bland....and when the main ingredients are green olives and bacon, that's saying a lot. The crust was extremely chewy, so either overworked or just cold or both. I'll give credit where it's due, and when we went there once before the pizzas were good, the service was good and it was super busy. Not sure I'll be ordering from them again. Not worth the $$$$ at least this time around.....and hold the tip until you get there and decide if the service is worth it.

Off the start, When arrived was greeted badly. Asked if we could dine in and was told yes. Sat down and looked at menu for about 25 minutes. Never got greeted by a server or anyone or even given drinks. Definitely not the experience I thought I was going to get.
