Great local spot, it's been there forever. Probably because it's great tasting food and the staff are awesome individuals. If you are in the area definitely stop in for a quick bite you won't regret it. Not much dining room on the inside. But hey, the price is a bargain and it's a true Chicago hot dog served along with great tasting fries.

I’ve stopped here two times while in the area and the food is good made fresh and reasonably priced. Came in with my husband placed our order. Super excited because my husband has been coming here to get his Chicago dogs. This was my first time. The guy who who took our order made our food with no gloves using his hands to pick up the hot dogs out the water put them in the. " Bare hands" Then he opens the fridge with the same hot dog hands and grab my polish out a container in the fridge and put it straight in my grease. No utensils. Just his bare hands. He then goes to take another order and do the same thing. By the time I got my food I didn't even want it because I was so disgusted. Of course my husband ate it but that goes to show you some men we'll eat anything. I almost forgot. After he handed us his order he went to go smoke a cigarette and then came back in. Took someone else's order and fixed their food without any gloves, just touching everything.
