Autre Monde is a lovely setting. Set up for a great dining experience. The cocktails were solid. Great flavors. We shared with each other, which meant we all got to try a few. Started with crochets and the octopus. The crochets were nothing special. Mine was not hot when served, kinda cold inside. The octopus was great. Perfectly cooked and great sauce. Autre Monde set-the-bar. I've dined at most decent restaurants in Berwyn and the surrounding suburbs, and they set the bar so high that I'm primarily disappointed when dining out in the area. It got to the point where I'd either go to Autre Monde, downtown Chicago or cook at home. The duck sausage flatbread is the best on the planet. enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night, started off with the mezza platter which i highly recommend followed by the most tender octopus ive ever had then thoroughly enjoyed the scallops which were exquisite and also ordered the chicken thighs with a unique taste of its own; i was visiting from out of town but its worth the drive and i highly recommend a visit
