I've been eyeing this place for a while, and finally stopped by for lunch in December. Located in Oak Park, Illinois, this local diner boasts a unique vintage chic decor that sets the perfect ambiance, especially for a girls' brunch. Serving brunch and dinner, the menu offers a variety of options. We indulged in crepes, the rib-eye panini, culichi panini, and alfredo pizza, and every dish was simply divine. The culichi panini was a standout—I almost didn't want to share! During the holiday season, they presented their drinks in adorable ways. From traditional hot chocolate to gingerbread and churro milkshakes, every sip was delightful. I can't wait to return, I’ve recommend this place to others and will return soon for another satisfying experience.

The aesthetic is beautiful. The food is flavorful but the customer service was a little slow and the price was a bit much for one crêpe and the food. It was good, but not outstanding for the price if you want to go for the aesthetic, this is a place to go. If you're looking for a quality food versus price this is not the place to go.

This restaurant did not disappoint when it comes to decor ambiance. You are definitely transported to an french movie scene the moment you walk in. The service is excellent. Food presentation is superb. EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL!!! HOWEVER, the actual quality/value of the food leaves room for improvement. The crepas where exquisite (after all, it's the specialty). Everything else is just ok. You can likely get more bang for your buck another breakfast place with better taste. We paid cash but we were still charged an unknown "convenience fee" (not a credit card fee).Is this a place that I am hooked on? NOWould I come back? ABSOLUTELY (even the toilet brush holder in the restroom is pretty)Great place if you have little princesses at home that want to be enchanted. EXCELLENT if you are just there for crepas! You pay for the decor and the experience. If you are looking for amazing food, this NOT the place for you.

Had brunch here and it was a beautiful experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were amazing, and the service was great! Will definitely be coming back! The only thing I’d change is to have refills on the lemonade.

Came on Sunday at 10am, it was busy but there was a table available and we got sat right away. The wait otherwise would’ve been 25 minutes. Expect to wait if you come, but it is so worth it. I had the avocado toast-even though it’s such a basic item, it was soo delicious. And the iced coffee were pretty and tasty!!!!

I am really torn about this restaurant. I think I personally would go back again for the food as my crepe was delicious (cajeta y nuez), but my husband pointed out that many things appeared to have a lot of food dye in it. The scrambled egg was pretty dry. My drink was overly sweet, so I added some water to it, and that helped a lot. Our server was prompt and attentive. But what really brings it down for me is observing a manager staff interaction. A staff member came by to fill up my husband’s water glass, and he declined. 15 seconds later, a manager’s hand hit our table and gave a look to the server. My husband then said to the server “if it’s going to get you into trouble, you can fill my glass.” They also charge you a fee for credit cards (which…this restaurant makes enough money by the menu prices and the amount of people there…you don’t need to charge people a fee). And you can only split the check directly in half.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. I got the savory culichi crepe and lovely lavender drink, I would recommend it to anyone. Our waitress and the other waiters were attentive and so friendly. I’ll be coming back!

First, I want to say my service was fine. My server was kind and checked in just once. But he was nice and generally fairly quick. My issue comes in many steps. First, they charge $4.00 for a fountain drink that is not refillable. One single Diet Coke in a water goblet filled with ice and an ice stir stick. This is nowhere on the menu. It was not mentioned. I didn't discover this until I asked for a refill, my server nodded and I said no ice, since my drink was SO much ice. He kind of grimaced and I said "it is free refills right?" And he shook his head no. Absurd. I asked the Manager on the way out to perhaps add this to the menu, $4.00 a glass for fountain soda is a lot and no mention seems like it would be free refills? A latte is barely a dollar more and a specialty drink, obviously no refill. He said no, gestures around and says "look where you are" I continued to push that the price is a bit high and misleading. He said the server should have told me, he didn't. I said they definitely need to make this more obvious because I wanted two Diet Cokes. I would have asked for a specialty drink around $8 if I knew that's the price the fountain beverages would be. The manager seems to believe because the place is very Instagram friendly with photos, they can get away with it? Ridiculous.Next. The table is chipped, the chairs are uncomfortable and wobbly. If you're going to care so much about ambiance maybe walk the walk?Food was meh. We got the Foccacia and the house panini. Decent sized sandwiches. The side of pasta is bizarre. Cold tricolor rotini with shaker parmesan on it. That's it. It's not a pasta salad but not also a pasta? No options to substitute on the menu. The food was fine, honestly nothing memorable. My sandwich was both cold and hot, bland and had two strips of green pepper on it. Just feels like they want to be on Instagram more than anything and have influencers here. We won't be back, especially after how defensive and rude the manager was. Plus there is a 3% convenience charge on the bill that also was not noted anywhere on the menu or mentioned.

ONE HOUR PLUS WAIT!This was on a Sunday at noon, 4 of us, what bothered me is that they kept on seating big groups. We got there at noon, and it was passed 1:30 when we finally got seated. They did however seat probably more than 4 groups of 6 or more. I did notice that in the menus it does say they add gratuity to tables of 6 or more, so I am sure that is also why they make others wait longer. Maybe I was not dressed aesthetically pleasing because everyone else who was kept on getting passed before us. I am not sure.We only saw our waitress twice, when she took our order, and when it was time to pay. Never did she check on us. Never did she offer us a refill on our drinks. Couldn’t even hear her properly when she was taking. You can tell that she did not want to be there.I found it hilarious that once we were leaving does the busboy come around to refill our empty cups. For what? I already had my bag and coat on.Food was good, and drinks were good. Maybe we should not go on a weekend to see if anything is different, was just disappointed by the first impression.

Glad to finally try this place. It’s definitely a girl’s place for brunch & catching up. We tried 4 sweet crepes: chocolate, guava, strawberries & cream & caramel & walnut. They were all good but the guava & chocolate were my favorites. I got the eggs Benedict & they were good but I was hoping to get potatoes or some kind of side with them. My friends got the cocktails & they were very well presented & pretty.

On the reservation I noted we were celebrating a birthday, the check in person did not communicate this to our server. We've had the same server before, they were not attentive, seemed unfamiliar with the drink menu, and when I asked for them to bring out candles (to celebrate our 6 year old's birthday), they didn't and would not provide an explanation other than "we couldn't". This was a big miss, and enough alone for me to question if I will be returning. The shakes and crapes came out almost immediately, this would normally be ok, but then we had about a 20 minute wait for the sandwiches for the adults. The food was not coordinated well. Once we received the check, the server should quickly return to pick up the card; this was another long wait. This should be a given at any decent restaurant, people do not want to wait to pay after they have already made it clear we are done and want the check. Also what's up with the service charge for credit cards, this should be rolled into the expensive prices and not an add on, it's just tacky! The chairs are getting wiggly and are feeling unsafe. I'm overall unhappy with our experience.
