“I know this is not gonna be popular, but it tasted exactly like the food you find in a hospital canteen or high school lunchroom. And I gotta think someone else has had the same observation because there is a sign in the bathroom that reads something like they are cool with you believing your mother's chicken salad is better. I think people go here for the kitsch and the down home sayings onto the wall. The staff was awesome. However, being greeted by a newspaper clipping featuring Paula Deen... well, just not sure that endorsement has aged well. Look, the place is spotlessly clean and the employees were incredible, but the food wasn't nearly as special as they claim it to be. We tried the potato soup, broccoli soup, pimento cheese, chicken salad and desserts. I will try it again and update my review if the food knocks my socks off.“
