I wanted to keep this place a secret, but considering how many people were here before Easter Sunday, I guess it's not a secret anymore! I have never ordered anything that disappointed me from this bakery. It is worth every single penny. My guests are always impressed by the desserts I order. The staff is so very friendly, compassionate, helpful, and fast. They DEFINITELY deserve some tips after the crowds today so I gave up a $10 willingly ( ALWAYS LEAVE A TIP FOR STAFF AND MAKE THEIR LIFE A LITTLE EASIER WITH A LIVING WAGE ;) ). I spent about $99 on two boxes of impressive and pretty pastries, a tray of cookies, and a chocolate egg. No doubt we will be long time customers. Also, note to self: order the big tray of pizza.

The prices are out of line. Butter cookies at $17-$18 a pound? The items I tried were not that special. Cronut was fine, nothing spectacular. Brownies were fine, nothing special. The staff is either great - or just rude, so good luck with that. After visiting a few times, I just prefer Jarosch. At least everything is fresh there and the staff is always friendly.

Been coming to Chicago Pastry for as long as I can remember. Cannoli are some of the best you can get in the area and they have a good selection of Zeppoli, like classic, cannoli filled, Nutella, etc sold individually or in trays for St. Joseph’s Day. Outside of that, they are a fantastic location for all of your Italian pastry needs. Everything is high quality, fresh, delicious, and always worth the drive.

Chicago Pastry made a beautiful, delicious cake for my daughter's bridal shower. Many of the guests commented on it being one of the best cakes they have ever eaten! And I agree!! French Creme Cake, highly recommended!! Sharon C.

Quality has fallen the last few years and prices have risen higher than they should. Donuts have always been good but other bakery's are much better. Coffee cakes are always good but not great and very expensive. I rarely go here anymore. Much prefer the Bakery in Hanover Park and Elk Grove Village. These bakeries have a much better selection, and everything tastes superb. The prices are reasonable too. I rarely stop here anymore. I got an attitude from one of the servers last Christmas which further dimmed my experience here.

Delicious cake, friendly helpful staff and wonderful aromas.
Just returned from this bakery. Bought a custom cake from them yesterday , served it and it had a rancid taste. Everyone at the party said the same thing. Put remaining of cake in garbage. Called the next morning and talked to manager and was told to bring in remaining cake from garbage. When I got there manager stated they can do nothing. I've patronized this bakery for over 30 years and I will not be going back.

I can never go here without buying more than I intended to get because everything is delicious. They have harvest cookies, Apple Tartini, fresh cannoli, and a great variety of breads. They have daily specials.
