So this was my first time going back to this store since it reopened. All my prior experiences had been positive until this time.Using the drive through I ordered two box meals and two apple pies. Got to the window and they handed me a bag and said thank you. I start rolling home and the bag shifts at some point. I start to adjust the bag and something seems off. There was only one meal in the bag. Not ideal but mistakes happen. I'll go back and they can make things right.So now while I'm on my way back the food I do have is getting cold. I call to let them know what happened and I'm returning to the store. They ask me my order number and what was missing, several times. Like my story might change.I return to the store expecting to have my entire order waiting for me nice and hot. They only made the missing meal. I stated that due to their error the other part of my meal is now cold. They said sorry and walked away.I don't think I was being entitled in the slightest by wanting all my food to be warm. There are more than one Popeye's in the area. So I don't thing I'll be going back to this one anytime soon if this was a indication of the service I'll be getting.

Paid for an extra side of mashed though app, but then called the store to ask to have the side be all (or mostly) gravy bc there is no extra gravy option. Person on the phone told me oh well that's the menu and refused to give extra gravy. Who treats their paying customers like that?!?

i went here a couple days ago on a mobile order and waited 50 mins for 3 8 pc meals. horrible service and the workers were so slow and acting like they didn't know what they were doing cause they just crossed the border illegally. we asked multiple times of they were getting our order and they were very curt and shut it down immediately by saying "it's coming up" rudley. it wasn't until after 30 mins of waiting that we were fed up and told the guy at the register and he dug through the huge stack of unfulfilled orders and found ours at the bottom. the food was delicious though, probably because I waited so long.

My first time visiting this location I was on my lunch break I ordered the 12pc Roasted Garlic Parmesan Chicken into the 4th piece bit into the Chicken Wing and it was undercooked that is unacceptable.

So glad they're back open. The remodeling looks great! Food was delicious! Always fresh and hot! The staff always very kind.
Another Popeyes owned by a cheap franchisee.. This location doesn't participate in the $5.99 Tuesday special. Since the remodel, this location also doesn't have the drink fountain out for the customers to fill their own drinks or get their own refills. This location makes it a hassle just to get a refill. This location also doesn't have the napkin dispenser out for customers to get their own napkins. They don't want to give extra napkins when you ask for some. I saw manager scold an employee for giving a customer an extra spoon/fork with their order. Another damn cheap franchisee. Apparently, these people don't understand "pinching pennies, wasting dollars". Let the damn customers get their few extra napkins and refills without hassle. I won't be returning to this location for sure.

I ordered a 14 piece dinner . I received 14 pieces of chicken. 2 breasts , 1 thigh , and the other 11 pieces were all legs and a couple wings . Just not what I was looking for to feed my guests . I thought I would try the Hanover Park store because the Bloomingdale store is closed and everyone knows how Pathetic the West Chicago store is right ? Does anyone teach the kids that work at the franchise ?
The service was good and quick. The chicken, fries, biscuit and mashed potatoes was really good.

Although I gave it 3 stars for service, the manager was accommodating when things were missing in our order. Thank goodness we decided to eat there instead of taking it home. The food by far was par. It was not really that good,tasted old. Popeyes used to be really good and looked forward to eating it. After this meal, I'm not sure I'll be back. Put it right up there with KFC. Would have been better off getting Jewel chicken.
