We had a large gathering for an after funeral meal that was 4 courses. The garlic rolls were delicious. The soup and salad were fine, nothing special. We had sausage with peppers, chicken with potatoes, and mostaccioli pasta. The chicken was my favorite, tasted like rotisserie chicken and was very moist. The dessert was Italian ice, nice and refreshing after a big meal.

I will not be returning to this restaurant. The service is horrible. I ordered as soon as I got seated. Chicken Parmesan and angle hair pasta! The restaurant was not full whatsoever. It took 40 minutes before my food came out. The chicken was dry and tasted bland. The sauce also tasted like it was from a bottle and not fresh. Not a good experience.

Hard to say this, but I bet this was once a fabulous restaurant, although food was pretty good, our waiter was terribly uneducated on the menu and drinks...the inside decor is like stepping back in time, blackened ceilings and duct tape covering carpet seems...The food was good, although not priced at a value...We drove about an hour, very disappointed...

I came in with a friend a couple of years ago in the late afternoon and we were the only customers in the place besides one table by the wall near the lounge entrance occupied by four neat mature gentlemen. I peeked into the lounge area at one point. The bartender seemed to be preparing for a busy night but it was still quiet. We sat in front of the fireplace but not before I tinkered with the piano a bit. The piano was there and I couldn't help myself. I'd forgotten some of the notes but remembered all the lyrics to the song I attempted to play, so I went over to our table, sat down by my friend, and belted out a blusey accapella version of Elton John's 'Your Song'. So fun! The dinner was delightful. I had a homemade fettucini with a vegetarian add on. The bread was devine, the service - splendid, and the ambiance - heavenly. I recommend this wonderful place wholeheartedly!

A+ for everything! The service was absolutely phenomenal and the food was incredibly delicious! The table was set very nicely and the atmosphere, overall, was very peaceful and welcoming. I definitely recommend coming here if you are craving authentic Italian food.

Excellent!! We had a late dinner and it was fantastic!! The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food was so delicious!! Very generous portions.

Honestly, I finally found my absolutely favorite Italian restaurant! The sea food entries are always fresh and very tasteful! A big round of applause to the chef, wait staff and mgmt for operating such an excellent restaurant!!!!

The food needs work, I don't think the cooks care about what they are serving nor do they understand when a person in a party has special dietary restrictions it took two tries to get the staff to understand the specifics of celiacs disease (gluten intolerance) The bar still brought over a drink with Brandy in it which still contains wheat or wheat byproduct. After that the service wasn't that bad but we were met with some level of stand-offish intensity by our server. The restaurant manager was friendly and personable, called over by our server, not us. The restaurant could use a little TLC in its Ambience the interior definitely looked as though it had seen better days. Overall it was not the worst experience but it wasn't great either this restaurant has a long way to go before it reaches even mediocrity.

Tony SpaVones is an amazing restaurant for so many reasons ! #1 because Tony personally walks the floor with warm smiles, welcoming greetings and delivers outstanding food! Each and every member of the staff is so very hard working and so accommodating! But the best part, by far, which stands way above all other restaurants is that Tony sings for his patrons & friends everyday and he has talented friends & family often in the restaurant who he brings up to join him or do do solo performances! You can't help but leave with a full belly and a warm heart. I say Best Restaurant In Illinois
