The food was solid (not great not bad) and lots of yummy options - however incredibly overpriced for what it is. Lunch split between two people was 60 bucks - two sandwiches and a beer. We will probably be back as it is walkable for us and there were no huge complaints other than the incredible pricetag for what seemed like run of the mill frozen pub food heated up.

Things to do at restaurant/bar: Live music. Watch/ Play on2 sand volleyball courts. Axe throwing. Pound nails into tree stump. 2 sets of cornhole/ bags/ whatever you call it.Service not always timely. But not a huge deal

Hadn't been here for quite awhile. Stopped in on a Sunday during prime time NFL games. Place was pretty quiet which was unexpected but also appreciated. Had a delicious BBQ chicken pizza ?. Server was awesome!

Very welcoming staff and amazing food. I come to gill Street about twice a week for lunch and Trisha and the other staff are amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good place to eat.

I've been here several times because I CANNOT get enough of their lemon pepper chicken with the Mac n cheese! But all of their food is amazing. Especially the cheese balls! My husband is taking me there tonight and I'm gonna try some fried oreos and a few more things so I will be adding food pictures soon. If you haven't eaten at Gill St before, you're missing out on one of the top 3 restaurants in Bloomington!!Kid-friendliness: It's not a rowdy environment considering that it's a sports bar and restaurant mix. It's relaxing and the people at the bar don't get wild or crazy. There's seating away from the bar also, separated by a wall if you don't want your children near the bar area. You can also eat on the outdoor heated patio in the back.

great live music, and 2 giant sand volley ball courts. my cousin's 25th wedding anniversary party was held here, and it was beautiful. friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and tall beers. i would go here again.

Ordered the blackened fish tacos and they didn't bother to tell me they were out of most of the ingredients! Paid $14 for three corn tortillas with a tiny bit of fish and 3 pieces of cilantro. Ridiculous!!!! They never bothered to let us know they didn't have all the ingredients. Terrible!

Went to have a few drinks with friends and watch them play sand volleyball. Everyone had a great time, and the bartenders were very attentive!Kid-friendliness: There were kids there with their family, and we brought our baby!Wheelchair accessibility: We were able to get in and out with a stroller without any problems.

Reason being that the bartender yelled at our baseball group kids not to play by tires while volley ball is going on? Really, there are no signs, we had 20 plus parent so the attitude and the yelling from bar to table was unacceptable. As a physician and I lost 20+patients who Know 20 + people and hear how you treated a baseball team and parents who frequent you regularly. You just lost 400 plus people in business. Unacceptable. Was our waitstaff good, yes, food, yes but get it together when you come to parents, sand, and kids. Unacceptable behavior by staff!!!
