After trying several different items on the menu, I'm impressed with everything. Huge portions, quick and friendly service, and totally following pandemic restrictions. I highly recommend the crab rangoon and chili shrimp. Also, the tofu is fried just how most people like it, not mushy.

Just had Steamed mixed vegetables, teriyaki sauce and buttered potatoes. Probably the best Chinese take-out I've had in this town! Bravo!

I was in the area looking for Chinese foods. I picked this place. I ordered a Kung Pao Chicken Large. The portion was good. However, all the chicken were very small and very few pieces of chicken compared to other Chinese restaurant. The taste was ok. Base on my experience, I will pick a different Chinese restaurant next tim.

We landed in Bloomington for the evening on our return trip to Minnesota. Because of CoVid 19 restrictions, our dining options were limited. Fortunately, the manager of our hotel recommended Hot Wok Express and it was excellent! We placed our order online and paid in advance with credit card. The food was delivered exactly when Hot Wok Express said it would. The portions were generous and hot. My husband ordered the General Tso’s Chicken combo plate that came with a large helping of fried rice, one egg roll and two pieces crab Rangoon. Chicken was plentiful and well spiced. I ordered the Singapore chicken and beef speciality. I think the proteins were cooked with a pound of fresh mushrooms in a moderately spicy hoisin sauce. All was delicious and way more than we could finish for dinner. Guess it will be Chinese food for breakfast! Highly recommend.

Rude and disrespectful people! Totally screwed up my delivery order and then didn't answer phone x45 min, once they did the "manager " told me they were really busy and that I should "take care of us and we'll take care of you next time" then hung up the phone. I tried to give them business since they are local and not able to be open but NOT EVER AGAIN! No one should order from these people!

I have been getting calls for an order that is not mine for about a year now. I have asked the delivery person multiple times to ensure they ask the person making these orders for an updated contact number because it is really inconvenient for me to get spammed by calls until I answer and tell them They have the wrong number. Please rectify this situation.

I have been getting calls at least once a month from a delivery driver for an order I didn't submit. I have answered the phone multiple times to tell them they have the wrong number and ask that they ensure that they let the person making these orders know they need to update the contact number listed with the order. But alas, I still get a call every time they're trying to deliver an order that is not mine. This is two Fridays in a row now. Please do something about this. It's terribly inconvenient for me to keep getting these calls. I don't even live in Bloomington.

I've been ordering Chinese takeout for a long time in all areas of the US and Hot Wok Express is a hidden little gem - with good prices for decent portions. I'm here on business from NY and thought I'd give them a try. The H&S soup was one of the best I've ever tasted, really fresh and delicious with perfect amount of heat. Unfortunately, the egg-roll was yucky and after 2 bites, I threw it away. I love chicken with broccoli and should have stipulated brown hunan sauce, but got white garlic sauce instead. Not my favorite, but not bad. The delivery driver was wonderful and handed me a package that had been sitting outside. :) Food came hot and fast. I will try them again soon.

Made to order Vegetable meals and fried rice. Great value and ready within 10-15 minutes. Prior to changing our preference to Vegan, we had severe of their seafood and chicken entrees. Fresh and quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Several spicy options.

I was that the hospital across the street and really needed a quick bite to eat when I find this little restaurant they have a sign saying lunch special $ 4.95 so I thought I would check it out. I was pleasantly surprised the restaurant is clean and up-to-date it's a very nicely decorated the help is a wonderful informative very friendly while I was there I was talking to the counter girl and the one of the owners of the restaurant who grew up in the restaurant cuz his family is owned it for 28 years was telling me about the restaurant and I found this an extremely charming place and I can't wait to go back. I ordered the walnut shrimp with white rice which was really really wonderful the recipe they have is excellent and I am a Chinese food snob and I see that they have kind of like a buffet thing where you order and they serve you right then and there and the food looked wonderful broccoli is fresh and frozen all the vegetables are nicely cut the shrimp are huge I mean like three bites per shrimp it's humongous it looks fresh nicely cut nicely served food I think you will find it a pleasant place to try.
