The food was amazing and a very high quality . However, my son and I have seldom been in a less friendly atmosphere . We were watched constantly by the server, who is standing guard , not sure why . Never cracked a smile and glared constantly at all the patrons . Looked like he didn't want to be there .A very unwelcoming environment . The Indian customers got treated exactly the same way .

A section of their menu is dedicated to Vegetarian dishes but it turns out several of them are fully vegan. The staff was very accommodating. The food was delicious. We'll be back next time we are in Bloomington.

Here is a little exerpt from a health inspection from 03/20/23: "6-501.112 (C) 6 roaches observed, dead, on same glue board in the cabinet below hand sink in wait staff area. 2 roaches observed, dead, on glue board in far right corner under dry storage shelf in room with reach-in freezers. We were greeted on the door by a energetic young man Malik Arjun who seated us right away. We had gone there at an odd time of 230 pm. He helped us pick what to order. He even brought us appetizers for free since they were wrapping up the buffet. He ensured that our food was made quickly and delivered promptly. So he gets 10 on 10 on service.Now talking about the food, It was on point... delicious and flavorful. We ordered Mysore masala dosa, Utpam, Goat Sukha with Naan. All the items were excellent. Peanut chutney very yum. Sambar could have been hotter. Missed coconut chutney. The place was clean, appropriately decorated and seemed reasonably well maintained. I found out that the owners were software engineers and were doing this on the side. The lady (owner) was professional and very good to talk to. We also bought some sweets and pastries to eat at home. Haven't tried them yet. Overall, I would say excellent experience. We were hungry and have high standards for food and this place delivered.

So, this restaurant has fallen off, big time. We ordered the same thing we order every time, but the portions were much smaller and pre-mixed with basmati (Usually comes with a seperate container with significantly more sauce and meat and a seperate container of rice. If i had to guess, i'd say we had maybe 2-3 tablespoons of sauce in each of our meals. It wasn't even enough to coat the rice. It was still white after mixing. Incredibly dry and inedible. I counted exactly THREE small pieces of chicken in my meal, 4 in hers.
I generally don't complain as it's rare that we get bad indian food, but I called and this guy tells me "We will try to do better next time", which wouldn't ordinarily be a problem but he offered no refund, no replacement, nothing of the sort. I called back again a couple minutes later and asked if i could drive back across town and get it replaced and he hung up the phone.
Talk with your money, folks. Spend your money elsewhere.

NO, DO NOT GO, PLS!! The place is rlly bad and all of the workers just stare at you. The buffet is SUPER cold and nothing is warm, super expensive too.

Only really eat here for the lunch buffet. It's just under $20 but it's worth it! This place always is switching up what they have. Worth recommend this place to anyone. Their food can be spicy, but it's delicious. Vegan options, or all kinds of meat.

I always buy dal tadka at this restaurant. The owners are Very nice and kind people! Dal Tadka is out of this world! I read other reviews and someone mentioned that the restaurant is not clean. This is NOT TRUE! I went to their buffet and the restaurant is CLEAN! I highly recommend this place!!! I ordered food online today and could not figure out how to pay for the delivery. I called and asked how to pay for the delivery, and they said that it is ok, just pay next time! This is how generous these people are!
