Heard it's now closed permanently. Too bad they made the best brisket I've ever had!!

First of all, this is not Longhorn Steakhouse. It's a place where you get delicious hearty food at a reasonable price. You know a place is good when cops and construction workers go there as well as office workers. At any rate, we have gone there at least every other week for lunch for years. We just had them prepare lunch for 35 for my husband's 65th birthday. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, green beans, regular Mac and cheese, white cheddar Mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, and vinegar slaw. The brisket is the best in town. It was all ready and hot at the time we agreed upon pickup, expertly packed. The brisket was juicy and tender. They will also give you help on how much to order. Nearly every guest commented on how great their food tasted. They thought it tasted like the product of an excellent home cook because things were seasoned properly. The scalloped potatoes had real ham as did the beans. In this time when nobody has the people to serve a large group at a restaurant, this was a great option for us and we will definitely consider Longhorn for future events.

Not bad for a different meal. Meat was dry and the bread was reheated in the microwave. The staff was extremely friendly!!

Melt in your mouth tender brisket and fall off the bone ribs! Also had the beans and mac and cheese which were both excellent, along with the cornbread. Come hungry!

The seating was disgusting, garbage on the floor, buckets to catch water... And the food was just nasty..

I'm not a BBQ expert but I do like food and these guys have great food. It's not fancy but fancy isn't the point. I've seen mentions that they don't make their own side dishes. I don't know, but I do know i like the sides. The meat is supposed to be the star of the show, though, and Longhorn knows how to treat its stars. The smoked brisket is the best I've had, including the brisket from the BBQ chains in Dallas. The smoked turkey is now the only way I can truly enjoy turkey. The lunch special is a great deal: one sandwich with your choice of hot or mild BBQ sauce and two sides. For reals - this is Texas style BBQ done really well.

Very nice service.Great taking food; baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, cole slaw, and of course BRISKET sandwich. However, restroom needs cleaning, trays were never pick-up in the one there and new paint on shudders would brighten front up, tale off crayon print on windows, and trim hedges in front. The employee answered my question of how long been here at " since 1998" which says that business is good cause food is.

The food was very good, but the place was dirty. The bathroom was especially disgusting.
