It is a lovely restaurant in a great location . It is a family owned, very reasonably priced restaurant. While it may be as gourmet as some other restaurants, the food is good, plentiful, and affordable for a family to have a very nice meal out.

If you guys are in the bloomington area I highly recommend coming to chasers bar. Great atmosphere and you guys have to get a drink from Ian. He is a great host and an even better bartender. God bless that man.

Our party of 3 arrived at 6:15 PM, we were promptly seated by, I'm guessing, the manager. He took our drink order, about 5 minute later the waiter came and took our order.to shorten the story, there were only 3 other tables occupied. It took over 35 minutes before our order arrived the waiter returned once and then disappeared. After we finished our meal we waited15 minutes and had to flag down the waiter to ask for our ticket..the waiter went to figure it and instead started answering the phoneA full 10minutes passed. We finally got up and headed to the bar where the the waiter was still on the phone. The manager was sitting at the bar watching TV and eating. I asked if he had my ticket, his response was to point to the waiter who got off the phone and started figuring the tab. HD asked how was everything .I saidthe food was great, the service was terrible. He laughed and I told him I was serious. The ma ager ever got involved. I put cash onththebar and told him it included ex a piss poor tip because that's how the service was. This was my second and last trip there

Came for Sunday brunch buffet on mother’s day, first time ever eating here. Food was either cool to luke warm. A lot of the food was dry. Deserts were mediocre, and to top off it was $25/person for brunch buffet. Our bill was $60 so $70 with a tip. Completely dissatisfied and nearly sickened. Whoever the owner is.. I sure hope you see this. We won’t be back.

It was our anniversary and we wanted to go someplace special. We hadn't been to Michael's for many years, and remembered the great steaks we had there back then. We were both so very disappointed. Salad was a huge pile of iceberg lettuce that was starting to brown, a thumbnail sized chunk of tomato, and the same size chunk of cucumber, neither of which were fresh. The homemade bread wasn't cooked all the way through. Our medium rare steaks were extremely well done, dry, tough, not seasoned, and we're barely only about a half inch thick. The "loaded" baked potato had only bacon and cheese. The bacon was the texture of jerky and the cheese was almost hard. Nothing about the meal would make us ever want to go back.

Always amazing food great prices and staff so nice and always smiling.
It's a place that has an elegant persona... The quality of food not so elegant... I got the stake. It had onions that were barely cooked should have been more caramelization.... The stake it's self had no charm at all. No Charing not much seasoning. The potato had little cheese bacon and chives had to order extra..The salad was skimpy... The wine however was exquisite, very robust, but pretty good feeling in the restaurant all together. The young lady who waited on me was good.

um very awkward and unpleasant experience. first of all it still looks exactly the same as it did 10 years ago. the atmosphere was beyond awkward and our server jasmine seemed flustered literally the entire time she served us even though we were the ONLY table and the glasses were rim down on the table which is gross i remember why i havent been there in 10+ years and i wont be returning.

It wasn't ok... advertised carved prime rib...it was just roast beef... advertised turkey and it was mixed pulled meat WITH BONES AND CARTILAGE!, had stuffing and usual sunday brunch items...2 people had meal and water the total was $53! Complete ripoff..never again!

Soup was not good. Mostly cheese! The mostocioli was below average in taste, the best part was the Italian sausage. Spinich dip was bland & rather tastless. Philly cheese wrap had tender beef but overpowered by too many onions. Lovely dining area and good service, disappointing food.
