The food was shockingly bad. Incredibly bland with no seasoning, they charged extra for the salad dressing without mentioning it, the fries tasted like they were sitting out for some time, the broccoli and "cheese" was velveeta at best.Service-wise, no one acknowledged us for at least 5 minutes after being seated. A busser gave us water, and no one else acknowledged us for another 15 minutes. Every table but ours got bread. We were given the wrong appetizer but they left before we could say anything. It sat uneaten on our table for another 10 minutes before we were able to point out it was wrong and send it back. We did not ask for a replacement, and had to remind them to take it off the bill when we got the check. The woman who seated us (I assume an owner or manager) repeatedly went back and forth from sitting at the bar doing nothing to a table next to ours and eating food off their plates and talking to them then walking around and chewing, and not stopping at any other table to see how they were doing or helping the servers. Also the bathrooms were disgusting.

There was nothing redeeming about this place. The food was unseasoned and bad. We were given the wrong appetizer and had to remind them to take it off our check at the end because we never got anything. We waited over an hour for our food. The waitress said it was because I ordered lobster! It was not busy!! The place was dark and dingy. The woman's restroom was horrible. There was some sort of rag or paper towel wrapped around a leaky faucet ,rust all over bathroom stalls! Looked like they hadn't spent a dime on the place for 50 years!!!

Good food, portions are a wee small for the price and the decor could use some updating. Highly recommend the potato skins for the appetizer!

Food was delicious! Great service! How sad that such a nice restaurant had cramped, dirty ladies restroom. The stall doors & floor were filthy!! One must step in and to the side of the toilet o close the stall door. Otherwise it was a great dining experience. This happens often at nicer restaurants! If they would follow the McDonald’s cleanliness standards!

Throwback atmosphere of a super club, which is a good thing! Great fried chicken and fish, and the ribs were unbelievable! We'll be back soon!

A Bloomington Normal classic. Solid steakhouse menu. It's not a "chain". It's a place we need to keep alive here.Great steaks and ribs. Wonderful seafood menu. And have the cheese and cracker appetizer.

Good food, reasonable price, great service. Our server had two [2] large groups and did an excellent job handling them both, simultaneously!

Had Baked Salmon & Seafood Platter and both were amazing with flavor. The scallops were my favorite. Au Groton potato's was perfect side. Fresh baked bread. Yummy. Excellent dinner.

A local institution with some great ribs and catfish. My parents had their anniversary party in the back room and everything was handled well.

Went there for dinner for the first time in nearly 20 years. This is a supper club style restaurant. Given that backdrop, it's good. Service was very attentive. Food was exactly what one would expect in a restaurant like this. Pretty good not great. Everyone in my group liked what they got and we agreed we would come back again.

I had the BBQ Pork sandwich and is was delicious. Like 5 layers of pork. bun is all crispy. Sauce is sweet and tangy. fries were thicker but cooked well.

Went to the Ozark House Restaurant for the first time last week. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful. It was decorated nicely and they had Cristmas music playing. Darrick was our server. He was attentive and friendly. He made sure we had what we needed. My husband ordered the baby back ribs. It was a nice size serving. The ribs were tender, meaty and tasty. I ordered the onion crusted salmon. It was a big serving and the best salmon I have ever had. The salmon was cooked just right and the topping just added to the flavor. The sides (soup, broccoli with cheese, salad and bread) were tasty. The coconut cream pie was a big serving and my husband said it was very good. We will be dining there again soon.
