Stopped St Patrick's Day. Sat at a table in the bar. Food was very good and service was excellent. Atmosphere was very comfortable. We will definitely stop in again.

First time coming here. Not impressed with what I got for what I paid for or the atmosphere. It looks like an old Ruby Tuesday's inside with the black walls and Norman Rockwell paintings. Our sectioned area was very crowded. Too many seats in one area. I could literally hear the conversation for both tables around us the entire time we were eating. Bad atmosphere and mediocre food, not really planning on coming back to this location.
Nice place to dine-in. Don’t bother with carry-outs, though. We have had several disappointments over the years and - after the most recent one - won’t order again. It’s the staff. 100% the staff. The individuals who take orders on the phone do not know the menu, do not care about getting your order correct, and frankly aren’t too bright. Rob Dobs does a poor job hiring and an even worse job in terms of training these people. We’ll spend our money elsewhere from now on.And no, Rob Dobs mgmt, I am not seeking a gift card or freebies. Don’t bother. The reason I care is because it would be nice to have a few decent restaurants in this town, and I’m happy to pay for it if it’s good. Right now, it isn’t.

The server that I had was named Amber, the service we got was terrible. My girlfriend got a tea and when she got it asked for a sweetener packet and we didn’t recieve it until we asked a neighboring waitress after about 20 minutes of waiting. I had ordered the crab cake as an appetizer and didn’t receive it until AFTER my entre. Amber stated that the kitchen had burnt the first one but when I received mine it was cold which leaves me to believe that she had just forgotten about it. I had ordered the surf n turf with a loaded baked potato on the side, the loaded potato was presented poorly, had bacon bits scattered all around it as well as they did not add the chives it was supposed to have. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was slightly over cooked but Amber did not check in on us until I was about 3/4 of the way done with it so I wasn’t going to have them make me a new one at that point. For dessert I had gotten a crème brûlée which tasted good but I had asked for the check at the same time as placing the order for the dessert so we could leave right after I was finished but the only thing Amber did quickly tonight was bring the check back and tell us to have a great night, I mentioned to her that I had not received my dessert yet and she put on a cheesy shocked face and proceeded to ask us if we were sure no one else brought it to us. As our waiter why would you assume someone else brought us our dessert? The prices absolutely do not reflect the food quality and the wait service was terrible. We got more help from a neighboring waitress who saw a lack of assistance. Mid food and terrible service. Would not recommend.

Been here several times. Food is good, bar staff is great. But service is not good. When you pay $$ for dinner you expect good service at a minimum. Above average should be the norms That’s not the case. 25 minutes for a drink. One hour for food. Not much Follow-up or checking in from wait staff.

I’ve visited Rob Dob’s a few times when in Bloomington. The service and food is always top notch. This past trip I ordered the Prime Rib and it was excellent. There was live music which really completed the overall atmosphere and experience. Highly recommend!
We make it a point to stop here on our way both directions to Florida. The food is always excellent. We wish Rob's was a lot closer. Know you will always be on our stops and we always tell everyone we know about you.Parking: It is free and right in front
Comfortable space, lunch time was quiet, wait staff were all kind. Had potato wedges, sausage penne, fried shrimp, meatloaf, and bread pudding. Each were fantastic. Baby friendly. The fireplace was warm, great for a baby!
I might go for dinner sometime, but I would definitely NOT recommend this place for breakfast. We paid WAY too much for less-than-Denny's quality. Sorry, I really expected better.
