The Pass was great! The buffalo chicken salad surprised me with how good it was. The horseshoe was great and the meat was well seasoned. And everything is SO inexpensive!! Fast service!

Hard pass on the pass. My husband ordered a Guinness because it looked like it was on draft. The server pulled out a can from the fridge and didn’t ask him if he wanted a can or draft, so I guess he just gets the can? The pretzel bites came out and they were burnt to the point where they looked like chocolate. THEN the server asks us to slide our chairs over, apparently to make room for other patrons (not next to us). We were at the end of the bar?? Another couple was between us and the patrons we were supposedly making room for, but the couple did not move? Vibe was super weird, multiple kids in there and people were getting trashed bc it was St Paddy’s Day. Rap music playing, dropping F bombs in the lyrics, not an appropriate place for kids, at least today. We will not be going back.

I was sceptical walking in....Went mainly for a late dinner. Took the suggestion of chicken sandwich. 100% right choice. I will guess that it's broasted. A full breaded breast cooked to perfection. Juicy and tender. They have a bunch of side sauce options.Highly recommend if you love chicken sandwiches.3 large screen TV's at the bar that sits about 12. Good mix of clientele.

Moved to Illinois from Mississippi without knowing anyone here and after going to a few neighborhood bars I found The Pass. The staff made me feel extremely welcome and it’s become like a second home to me. Couldn’t ask for a better place to unwind with a group of bartenders that are incredible people. Good service. Good food! I look for the specials on Facebook before I order off the menu. I also like that they still cook past 9pm. We tend to eat a late supper.
My coworkers and I go regularly here and I've now gotten a ton of friends to go too. Their food is AMAZING. It truly doesn't matter what you pick because everything is made to be delicious. My favorites are the pass out fries and the passta. You have to try it sometime if you want so good food while supporting local!

I love The Pass! We've eaten there a few times and each time the food is amazing. There isn't much space, but the staff is nice and the atmosphere is fun. I love the outdoor area, too. We had so much fun last time that we didn't end up going to any other bars like we thought we would, too! I highly recommend!
