One of the best cafes of Uzbek cousin. You must try lagman here. I don’t remember when I last time eat real lagman taste. You have to try green tea too, different flavor - I love it!

Nothing close to what is on the menu/picture. Ordered the lamb with rice. Too greasy. Very small portion for the cost. Not even a side salad.

Wonderful. I took that to go at home. Look at this juicy “manty” (meet dumplings). Strongly

Yet another Central Asian restaurant in the Chicagoland area! It's been fun trying them out. So far I've tried Anjir, Chinar, Jannat, and Sorry Mommy. Now we tried Caravan. Caravan is located in a strip mall, to the far left. Parking is decent. When we went inside, we didn't see a worker, so we seated ourselves. It turns out there was only one server taking/delivering orders. Service was friendly enough. There are about eight tables inside, mostly four-seaters but one larger table with eight chairs. The interior is nothing fancy. Anjir and Chinar feel nicer. Caravan didn't feel like the type of place where you could have a cozy conversation. Oddly, the other dozen or so customers were all men; we were the only family with a child. The table settings were decent with proper plates and silverware. We ordered plov, manty, and chuchvara. The plov was a bit dry, but thankfully not as greasy as other places. I suppose this was a healthier plov since it didn't have overly fatty meat. The manty was on par with other places, although I feel Anjir has the best manty so far. The chuchvara was somewhat disappointing because the soup broth was nearly flavorless (compared to Jannat); however, the dumplings inside were excellent. Overall, not a bad option, but not my favorite from the five Uzbek restaurants I've tried so far

Last evening, my husband and I tried a new Uzbek restaurant in town called Caravan Uzbek Cuisine in Bolingbrook. We both had bowls of soup. The broth was different for both of our soups and they tasted completely different. I had the beef dumpling soup, called Pelmeni-Chuchvara (shown in the pictures below). The husband had the beef strips soup but I don’t remember what it was called. We both enjoyed dinner a lot, and highly recommend it to everyone! ???Parking: It is in a plaza so first come first serve for parking. We got lucky.Kid-friendliness: Kids were in the restaurant and were eating French fries with ketchup.Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of space between tables for wheelchairs to pass through.

Good food and nice ambiance. Neighboring place was playing too loud music.
