We ordered 4 gorditas de rajas. Some had 2 cracked strips. Others didn't even have any cracks. And burned. I don't think I'll come back here again.

Good Gods, what happened? The tamales are disgusting now. I ordered on a Friday in the evening through Grub Hub & got the driest, greasiest, most odd-tasting tamales I've ever eaten. I also ordered Tampiquena with this delivery order & the steak was not cut & it was delivered in a styrofoam container with no plastic cutlery. I had to move the entire meal on to a plate as to not potentially cut through the styrofoam. Part of the reason I like ordering delivery is that you can eat it out of the container & not dirty a dish -- but I had to as the steak was one huge piece. I will say the steak was flavourful & a generous portion but the cheese enchilada was VERY small compared to previous orders. The beans & rice were also not the same quality as I'd had there before. Both my husband & I have been less than impressed by this restaurant in the last 3 years. I don't know what happened to their kitchen staff, but there were more negatives than positives & that means I order from El Burrito Loco -- which has much better food & better pricing as well.

Just reminding the world that no matter where my fiancèe and I go, no place is ever better than el authentico. Best horchata and food. Always got the chicken enchilada dinner from them. Beautiful beans and Rice. Just fantastic.
