This location (Bolingbrook) has joined the ranks of food service places that produce poor quality food and equally poor response to customer concerns. I ordered in advance and followed up to the pick up plan only to still wait an additional twenty (20) minutes in arrival at the location. It was apparent that the two men working were doing their best, but it failed to measure up to standards this location has previously held. The cashier confirmed my food was ready and after I'd paid he communicated a delay. Very frustrating. Once home with the product, it was poorly prepared - missing lemon pepper and sauce with undercooked fish filets. At one point the cook came to the window to interact with another customer whose complaint was valid. I found his interaction highly inappropriate and demeaning in tone. I also noted he failed to wj his hands when he returned to the food area (as ever sink is one of the only things that remain visible in this location). I will advise others to explore alternatives to this business due to lowered quality product (food prep standards) and disregard for customers in the community.

I ordered fish and fries. They messed up the whole order special instructions. I asked for lemon pepper and my order. The fries were limp and greasy no lemon pepper on the fish. I also ordered two pieces of caramel cake. They gave me German chocolate cake. Told me to bring back the unopened cake the next day. After much convincing . They refuse to correct my fish order. Also, the one piece of cake was disgusting. It is not the same cake as Fuck you get in the city at J&J's. It has the texture of a sponge. This place is a real hit or miss. It depends on who is doing the cooking. We've ordered chicken wings from there before and they were hard as bricks. 1 star rating

50 wings, do not fry hard. They were dried out and small. Been living in Bolingbrook over 15 years and will be my last time going back to this place. Lots of different owners in the past but these guys bring a all time low.

This J & J on Bolingbrook Drive should be avoided. I ordered the cat fish tails which should be moist, meaty, and delicious. It was absolutely HORRIBLE! The fish size was very tiny and fried so hard that it was not edible. The 3 small pieces were like 3 fried crackers. The fish had cuts in them I guess to make cooking faster but it just dried the fish completely out. When I picked up the bag it was so light weight I thought it was empty. To add insult to injury they didn't put the hot sauce in it that I asked for. I drove straight to McDonalds for a sandwich because that $13 meal wasn't fit to eat and even if it was it would not be enough to feed anyone. Since the fish was so bad I'm sure the chicken would be fried to death and super small pieces which J & J restaurants do these days. Go somewhere else if you want decent food. They should be ashamed of what they do. So not happy this July 16, 2023.

Service was really nice just need to work on there fish fry. I been to JJs in the city a billion times and I can see this one didn’t have the best food but I still ate everything. I will continue to support because a restaurant like this is just great to have in the community.

Horrible horrible experience twice. First I bought the lunch special fish 3 shrimp which remind you there straight out Walmart the fish tasted weird like it was spoiled. But, I didn’t judge because I thought maybe my taste buds. To my surprise nope I order 6 wings this time and bit into it with the worse taste smelling like fish. He is definitely selling spoiled food. When seasoned and fried you wouldn’t pay attention.and I need my star ⭐️ back

Very expensive as compared to the Joliet branch, this store is not a franchise of JJ fish, it’s a fraud, have a look the sign board outside JJ is dark only Fish is illuminated, no good dinner way too high prices, I don’t recommend , plus they are selling Indian jewelry in the lobby too, no franchise allow to sell something in the lobby’s. Fish was over done very hard, waste of money.
