Tonight was my second visit for open mic night. I drank a couple Virgin Marys done Dave's way (that's him in the pic serving drinks). It's very good and comes with some great deli stuff on toothpicks! So even though I didn't order any food, I still have to give that drink a 5 star food rating. ?There are some great musicians on open mic night and the crowd is supportive and fun. There's a few of us who do a karaoke song or two in between sets. It's makes for a great time on a Tuesday night.

First time back since the remodel and the passing of Mr Hoffman. Always loved this bar and though it was remodeled, it still has the same feel. Now it's just seems bigger and more accommodating.

You can run into a guy outside who will tell you baby pigeons aren't real and albinos are going extinct. 2nd time running into him there, 10/10 would recommend.

I came here for the past two nights in a row and i came here on my 21st birthday and now tonight Wednesday night its a different bartender and she wants to say she cant give me service at the bar she cant accept my id lmao im not coming here again thats for sure ill take my business elsewhere to the other 20 bars in kankakee area that accepts my ID didnt wait 21 years to be denied service when i have a valid ID present??
