“Great Chicago Tavern. Old Style on tap. Malort behind the counter(ant your own risk, lol). Owner is awesome. Went here because growing up as a kid in Chicago I’ve been to taverns with the old man but never been to one as an adult. Would definitely go back here again.“
“This is one of my favorite spots on the Madison strip of bars. The staff are always friendly, and they have a solid beer list. Once, I was wearing a shirt from a brewery I had visited, and the owner asked me about it, stating that he is always trying to mix it up with his beer offerings. Would recommend!“
“Intimate everyman bar in the burbs. First time here on a busy Friday night. Patrons all seemed friendly....a happy place. Easy to catch the young bartender's eye, and place your order. She was friendly too! Oh, and the prices are more than reasonable. Check it out!“
“This is the best place ever they have great food great people the own comes up greats you it's like that move Cheers. ..where everyone knows your name after 7:00 a DJ comes on Saturday for the younger crowd. .lol that's when I go plenty of parking“
“This bar has a lot of potential! TheOwners should devote more effort towards sales & marketing promoting it's sutle neighborhoodcorner tavern atmosphere, as well as targeting larger groups to hold there parties, corp.functions, and team celebrations.A shout out to the most "interesting man in the world" lolMarty the Manager.....Also the absolute "coolest" Bartender..... Ms. Liz!!! and last but certainly not least the "Veteran".... Ms. Pat!✌️out! ALWAYS TIP THE SERVERS“
“This bar has been the bar of choice for a while now, being there often enough where they know what i drink when i walk in, and know my name. you cannot beat the price, and everyone there is friendly. if you're looking for a fancy mixed drink this isn't your place, but there's always cold beers and the shots keep flowing.“
“Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. Been going to Goldy's for five years. What a find. Great service, great staff and perfect atmosphere. Should be more places like this but this would only mean more competition. Stay just the way you are.“
“We had a layover in Chicago and were staying at the Hampton Inn, searching for a beer near by we came across this on Google and went, what a blast very friendly staff and bar tender Tish, my wife and I can't remember when such a great time in a bar, we will see you the next time we are in town.“
“I was surprised by how good the food is just because this place is definitely more of a bar than a grill. We all enjoyed our meals, and the service was excellent. The prices are fair, and it would be a great place to come check out sports or some live music. They also have some slot machines.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options besides salads, but I believe they have a few.Kid-friendliness: Kids are certainly welcome and they have a kids menu, but it is really close to an actual bar.“
“Love this place the people that work are so nice and happy. It’s stocked really well to I enjoy going there for shopping it’s not the traditional grocery store but it’s has a nice selection of food. The snacks and frozen food from around the world make it easier to be adventurous with my meals.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are end less .Dietary restrictions: It’s a smaller grocery store you pick up what you need .Parking: Big open lot no problem with the parking“
“Great live music and the girls working there are always polite and very quick with service. Atmosphere is always welcoming and the crowd always has more new faces that become friends.Parking: The Italian restaurant in the center of the strip mall allows for the over flow to use thier lot as well. Between the orange flags is a Motorcycle Only parking are for around 20 bikes, these spots are always available just outside the front door.“
“Fun local bar, great beer selection, and the food is pretty good too. They host awesome rock shows and sometimes do karaoke, bingo, trivia etc.All the bartenders are down to earth and give top notch service. Heard nothing but good things about the owners.Go for a beer stay for the fun.“
“If you blink, you'll miss this little hideaway. Located about a quarter mile away from Toyota park. Has slot machines and while the name is a bit misleading (no food, just some chips and popcorn) they have $2.00 beers and Nine, the woman who served us, was the best. Extremely friendly! A great place to wait out an uber rush for any event going on at the stadium.“
