I ordered chicken wings and a small catfish dinner. I was extremely disappointed because I have heard only good things about them. The chicken was fried really hard and it was very dark, as if it stayed in old grease too long. It had a scorchy taste. The fish appeared to be fried in the same old grease. It was really hard on the outside but the inside was mushy. Maybe this was a bad day for the cook. But I know the cook noticed how hard and dark that chicken and fish looked and served it to me as well. I will not be going back.

Ordered 10 pc wings to go. Cooked at time of order. Crispy, fresh & hot when it was brought home. Ordered extra Cole slaw, but it was not in the bag however, I received a courtesy call from the order taker stating she was sorry and will make sure I will get it on my next order. Good service-Good food!!

I wanted to give a shout out to the closers of this establishment on 03/21, I'm so upset I didn't have cash on me and wasn't giving a tip option on my receipt!!I recently moved into the neighborhood and came across this place on Uber eats!!! Let me tell you the flavor and the food was on point and just simply amazing!!On 3/21 i called at 8:32pm they close at 8:30. The voicemail had already picked up but the worker went ahead and still picked up the phone he said we are closed but I'll still accept your order. It's been awhile since l've been meet with that type of exceptional service!!I ordered my food and picked it up around 8:45! I really appreciated the effort this man took and the cook for preparing my order!!Again the food was great the establishment had a great vibe!Please check them out when in the area or even if you're not it's worth the drive!! I can't wait to come back and try more things!!
The food is always fresh. Wings are my favorite and so is Chicago Chicken Shack. I grew up in the south side and Harold's is a fan fave of course. The Chicago Chicken Shack is my new fave. Very customer focused staff. Continue the good service.

First time in this establishment, the customer service representative was so pleasant we'd had order take out.When we got home the chicken was delicious ?, but the only thing I didn't like was the shrimp it was too spicy and the coleslaw to me was horrible ?, but everything else was great

This is some great food! I say food because we have honestly tried it all. Our first experience was at the concession stand at Proviso East. My daughter asked for wings and she ate them all! She said they were her favorite wings. Truth be told she calls them, the Proviso East wings. She asked for a tray for her birthday party. The wings are always properly seasoned, they never lack flavor. The shrimp is fresh, and also always seasoned to perfection. The service is great, they always treat you with respect. You do have to pay over the phone with a card when ordering. Which is understandable when ordering food, to cut down on waste. The owner's are always very involved in the community and always give. Why not support someone, who supports our community! You can't go wrong with anything you order from here. We have had the fish, okra, and fried pickles. This is a must try if you're on the are, or at a Proviso East High School event. We order once a week from here.

Went a couple of times and was about to go back last week but found out the price for 25 wings jumped from $30 to $45. Nope! We went somewhere else. The other Chicago's Chicken Shack locations are charging $30 for 25 wings. Broadview is the only one charging $45.
