This is my 2nd time patronizing this establishment and decided to share my experience. This establishment is like a breath of fresh air, from the ambiance to the DJ who really gets the crowd engaged when celebrating birthdays, to the atmosphere—it's an overall vibe. The shrimp & grits I ordered both times were always prepared perfectly. The drinks are a must; my favorite is the flights and the view. The owners are always hands-on, making sure things are being run seamlessly. Now, where some fine-tuning is needed is with the service level. It seems that they rent out their space to party promoters, so that causes a shift in the level of service that is being provided. No one likes to feel rushed or timed. No one should have to be shifted and moved around. If I want to sit where I’m seated and purchase drinks and food for however long I want to stay, it should be just that, as long as I'm buying.

I ordered the lamb chops (3), which was small portion size for the price. Lamb chops the size of a egg yolk, ridiculous. Then on top of that, there’s a gratuity charge of 20%, regardless of party size. Very disappointed! You have to do better in serving the community.

I just left there, this review is based solely on the service. I was in the restaurant area seated at the very first table off the wall. I cannot remember my waitress name although she was very nice. I ordered one drink which totaled $12, I gave her $20 she gave me back $4 in change (no she did not ask nor did I offer a tip). If you are there tonight and you so happen to sit at that table watch the waitress she's light skinned wear glasses and has long faux locs in her hair. Count to coins, because she's a thief!

My experiences at The View 1701 have been nothing short of amazing each time! From smooth brunches to lit Day/Night parties this place offers it all. And the staff does not disappoint, all food and drinks were made to order and there isn’t a long wait time. I’ve tried every item on the menu and everything is 10/10. The space itself is large and beautiful, and the music is always great the DJs definitely cater to the crowd. I celebrated my birthday here for a Saturday brunch, we ordered food and got bottle service, the vibes are unmatched!

The Overall dining at this restutant was delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service,and charming atmosphere made for a memorable experience. My experience at this resturant was nothing short of excepitional. Love it!!!
We had a reservation for 7 when we got there they said that our reservation was for only 2 peoples it was my wife birthday we had to get pat down just to have a dinner it was so getto and hood out in there no body seem to know what's going on its over rated for there prices you deserve better take your family to a more classic place if you won't to please her and show her a good time NOT THE HOOD.

I saw this place advertised on Instagram and decided to give it a try with some friends we made reservations today for 4pm. Once I got there the parking lot was definitely full they do have valet for $15 but I ended up parking on Roosevelt close to the corner of 19th. Once we got in they seated us right away. The place is roomy & it really look nice on this inside, but the vibe was not for me. I'm 47 this place caters to younger crowd. If you are into a club vibe like twerkin & loud music this is definitely the spot for you. Our server stated that they were going to close the kitchen at 4:30 and we had to order off the brunch menu, if not the kitchen doesn't reopen until 5:30, they need indicate that on the website I would have made reservations at a different time, so I ordered the chicken and waffle it was good but if wanted a place to sit down and have a conversation and a bite to eat. You will not be able to hear. I did recommend this place to my daughter, she's 23.Parking: There is a parking lot but if this place is pack it will be hard to find a close park. They do have valet for $15 as well.

I called off work for this [email protected]. Great Atmosphere dope decor fr.Now lets get to the truth. Service was 100% horrible 45mins for 2x drinks. Food came out in 15 mins (weird) one waitress until 11 or 12. Mind you they close at 2am. OVERLY PRICE drinks still trying to figure that out. Dinner was not up to part. The dj was on time out in the corner for everyone to see he's on time out lmao. In other words Pandora would have been better lbvs. Absolutely no wine at all like non. Super red flag. No skilled bartenders miscommunication with the waitress. No order but on the bright side security was amazing. I give them they props the establishment itself meaning bar and restaurant. Super dope! Those are the nicest things I can say. Will I return? Absolutely not. Will I recommend HELL NO.I ordered one pasta dish $27 One Stella, one black barrel on the rocks ( messing the rocks) and a cranberry juice on the side came out the $70. Where do they do that at The math ain't marching it.
