You absolutely have to check it out. Great food, outstanding service from Mary Beth and Anne and wonderful drinks. It’s a burger and hotdog place… nothing crazy but the best you have ever tasted. Huge TVs with both Sox and Cubs. The service is truly amazing definitely stop by to see Ann and Mary Beth on the weekends. You will not be disappointed

Great old tavern vibe the burger is a 5 star juicy and delicious but the bun doesn't match the burger I would of gave a 5 star review if the bun was on point also great people working there !

Came in snd took a seat and the bartender didn’t even acknowledge us. She wiped down the area next to us and never even made eye contact. Waited 20 mins and she was too busy talking to her friends at the other end of the bar to ever come take our orders or even greet us. We even tried to flag her down to get her attention, and we’re completely ignored. We walked out and we went to another spot nearby where we ran up a $160 tab on food and drinks over the next hour and spent a couple hundred dollars on the slots. By the looks of the place, they probably shouldn’t let business walk out, especially on a weekday afternoon.

The burger it is good. It is the definition of “I need to eat something while I’m out”. It hits the spot but isn’t going to overwhelm you. The food menu is limited, but again, it’s food for while you are hanging out, you’re not going to take pictures of your plate and post it to your instant gram.The service for my visit was wonderful. The three women behind the bar all helped to make sure I had what I wanted. They seemed to be able to read the customers very well. Great conversations when there was time.The atmosphere is a tough call because one persons boring is another persons party. The crowd seemed to be a lot of regulars and everyone stayed to their group for the most part. If the atmosphere is come in and chill, then it’s great.I didn’t witness or experience any of the other negatives that others have written about.I’ll definitely make a return trip because the staff and the prices can’t be beat.
Went with a group of guys who grew up in the neighborhood and were home visiting for the holidays. Bartender came up to us after skipping a song we paid for on the jukebox and said, "that's the last mariachi song you play in here," in response to us playing a few a Mexican songs on the jukebox (by a few, I mean we maybe played 3-4 songs total across the entire night). This is the second time something like this has happened with this particular bartender. The irony is the last Mexican song played that provoked him to confront us was picked by a white girl in another group at the bar. If you don't want to welcome all people at your bar, put a sign on the front door and we'll take our money elsewhere.

It's your typical neighborhood bar. Good simple sandwiches, burgers, sausages, etc. Lots of TV screens and reasonable drinks.

This place is a gem and was exactly what I expected. A friend and I stopped by after a round of golf for some lunch. We both had a burger and a cold beer. Bartender was very friendly and had those oh so cold beers on the bar in front of us in no time. The burger is a must if your hunger. Grilled hot and ready to order right on the other side of the bar. I had the double cheeseburger with simple lettuce tomato pickle toppings. While the cordial is quaint, it does not lack for seating as it was plenty full during lunch with regulars.

No more youngster take overs! Every time I visit I see a lot of smiling happy humans. The expanded food and beer menus are very well thought out and executed. Huge new TV's everywhere. New windows and roll up door up front are great. Nice to see money well spent. The new owners are super nice and very welcome addition to the community. I look forward to my next visit.
