I am an avid eater!!, yes and I have been comparing this place and it’s simply great. The place is clean, food is very good and authentic and most of the family works. Only concern is that the place is small and it gets crowded on weekends.

We first starting coming a year and half ago shortly after they opened and we've never had a bad experience in the numerous times we've been going. The owners are good people and the food is delicious with a very good price.

Its new food was mediocre. Staff was okay but needed to be more attentive to customers. The place was not too crowded.

Affordable, delicious, simple, and made with care. Nothing too greasy or too wet or too salty or too dry. And actually kinda spicy (but could always use more). Always better than what I'm looking for. Cheapest breakfast in town. Tacos are fantastic and fillings are never old tasting. Pozole has become a weekly thing.

I had high expectations for this place as it had 4.8 stars but clearly that was a mistake! The service was ok, the restaurant was ok and the food was very disappointing for $20 we received a nacho with steak, the waitress said it comes with meat, Chihuahua cheese and sour cream we said ok the plate comes with a SMALL pile of chips that have steak (probably would have gotten more meat on a $3 taco) maybe some cheese and sour cream drizzled on top the other !!! HALF !!! of the plate was refried beans and jalapeno slices for $11 !!!!!! ... We also ordered a coke and horchata ( the horchata was the best part of the meal) really not worth $20 VERY disappointed
The customer service. The authenticity. The price. The flavor. The music. THE COFFEE. The chips and salsa are always fresh and hot. I could go on and on but I won’t. I will say, the Mexican food in Chicago has been taking a huge decline in terms or taste n authenticity but this place makes up for it. I’m In love with this place. Thank you to everyone that works here, you all are truly special. P.S. the food is too good to remember to stop and take a picture so the pics are of my half eaten food. Haha! Yummy!

Amazing food. Have only ordered to go because it’s a small place and it’s usually packed. Great platillos and their pozole is on point!Parking: Parking is hard because the lot is small, but that’s the only downside for an otherwise great restaurant.
