I went there today to get Galbi tang because they had good reviews but my gosh that was a big mistake!! As soon as I walked in it was very dark inside and no heat super cold on rainy cold day !!! We sat down and ordered Galbi tang which was so sad . I upload the comparison pictures Galbi tang from joong boo market and from here. First of all they only bit 3 small meat without the bone ! Only 3 piece of small meat and they don’t even bother too add clear noodles in the broth!! Also the broth was not hot enough and super watery nothing like hearty rich flavor! It’s not worth paying $18.99 dollar for that! I let the old lady know right away why only 2-3 piece of meat ??? Her response was Joong boo is a marker we are different we buy expensive meat and paying so much for it ???? Like what doesn’t even make sense!!! It was so uncomfortable sitting in a cold dark restaurant and food was rubbish !! Those old ladies are super shameless asking about more tips from the next table older couples and they asked are gonna tip??? From my boyfriend!!! He was so mad he left 20%tip with extra cash! Like so embarrassing and made everyone in the restaurant feeling awkward!! Even the old couples left angry!! You don’t ask more tips when you serve bad food with almost no meat !!!

Service was bad. Waitress didn’t know the what is in the menu! Even she recommended different restaurants for us ?‍♀️.She didn’t bring one of my food and already added my check. Tip is included in the checks 20% we paid but waitress come to outside parking asking the tips. Very rude.Never happened to me before this bad service….

Such a great experience! My fiancé and I came here for the first time and ordered the stone bulgogi bowl and it was super tasty. Definitely coming back here again.

AMAZING FOOD, I DREAM ABOUT IT. I can't wait to have it again. Prices are worth it. Get the beef bulgogi and japchae.

I really like this restaurant. I don't know why because I can't particularly say the food is the best Korean food or that they have the best service or anything but something about it is just really nice if you want a humble Korean meal. The price is pretty reasonable for the food you're getting and there has never been anything I didn't like. The service is just okay. It's typical Korean service, sometime they're nice, sometimes they're not. But they were really understanding when we went with a bunch of babies that were loud and messy. My go to dish is the soojaebi, which I don't like paying for since I make a really good version at home very easily, but I feel like something about this place is just worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you like Korean food but don't like making it yourself.

Horrible food. It seems people leaving positive reviews have no clue how real Korean food should taste. Mine - rice was overcooked. Everything else - questionable taste. It would be much better if I bought some food from Seul market or Mitsuwa.

Ordered seolloengtang and yukgaejang and both were great!! wish it was a little spicier, but overall it was fresh and authentic tasting. One of the better restaurant quality yukgaejangs i've had. Thought the price was fair as well. This was a nice little local restaurant with friendly staff and home-y vibes. I will definitely be back. I bet they taste even better during the winter!

Excellent Korean noodle place, lots of dishes you just don't see outside of South Korea or South Korean movies. Since I watch a lot of South Korean movies I knew what all these dishes looked like, but not what they all tasted like. Authentic Korean service, so no you're not going to get that obsequious insincere emotive and dramatic American restaurant service, but you don't really want that. It doesn't go with this kind of food. Be really careful about splashing sauce or soup, some of this will really stain. By the way, it's good manners to make slurping noises with your noodle soups, that means you're enjoying it. You eat Korean noodles quietly if they're mediocre. Also be careful, Koreans, like Japanese, like their hot soups hot enough to burn. It's another reason to slurp, if you suck in air with the boiling hot noodles you can avoid burning the roof of your mouth or tongue. It's a technique that takes practice. The portion sizes are generous so you can get a lot of practice.

First time trying Korean food and they did not disappoint. Food was savory. Servers were extremely helpful too. Noodles and beef were packed flavor. Bibimpop was okay, adding the broth gave it a left extra flavor. Don't recommend desserts, but would return for food.

Awesome authentic Korean. The banchan (small dishes of various raw and pickled veggies served cold) kept on coming and were a welcome reprieve from the piping hot stone bowl bibimbap (highly recommend this dish especially for first timers—the layer of crispy rice at the bottom of the bowl is a delicacy).Very friendly and helpful service. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is more welcoming than the photos here might suggest. Though, to be honest, it was the photos here that made me think: this place is gonna have good food. It’s a no/few frills strip mall restaurant but has charm; their focus is on satisfying dishes and a casual, comfortable experience.Definitely going back. I want to try a cold noodle entree I saw other diners enjoying and one of the many soups…but it’ll be hard not to order the dol sot bibimbap again.
