I was looking for an inexpensive lunch special close to my work and Pizanoz came up. Though I'm not a big fan of the spelling of "Pizanoz", I read the reviews and did the research to give it a try. There was a picture in the Yelp listing from over 4 years ago (2019?) stating that a slice of deep dish meat lovers pizza was $4. I thought it was highly unlikely that the prices would be the same, post-pandemic, but to my surprise, they were pretty close! Pizza by the slice is now (03/12/24) $4 deep dish sausage or pepperoni, $4.75 for deep dish meat lovers. What a deal! I got the sausage and with a drink, the total was $5.09 after tax! While I don't know the cost of the thin crust slices, they're surely under $4 and worth a try. Regarding the deep dish or pan style pizza itself, I loved it. The crust was soft and doughy and seasoned lightly. There was a nice layer of thick cheese and the sausage was packed with fennel and was a great with the tangy tomato sauce. I was full after eating 3/4 of the slice. The cashier was patient with me as I weighed the options and was happy to answer my questions on the price and options. There's no dining here, so as far as ambiance, I would say that it feels quaint and personable here, like you're stepping into a family business that has been around for a long time. I'll be back for sure, and after one more positive food experience, I'd be ready to upgrade the rating to 5 stars.

I don’t know what took me so long to write a review on this gem.I frequently come here for a quick bite, their slices are always fresh, hot, and ready.Around lunchtime, you can find other slices like meat lovers, and “some like it hot”(Italian beef, giardinara). Otherwise you can expect sausage, pepperoni, or cheese slices available pretty much throughout the day.Their nachos and burritos shouldn’t be overlooked either.If you’re still reading my review cuz you’re wondering what that deliciousness is or cuz you’re drooling and now more hungry than you were 2 minutes ago, my bad.This beauty is “The Pizano.” Mouth watering, thin slices or beef, in a drinkable Au Jus, with some mozzarella cheese. But if you really want take it over the top…you gotta get it on garlic bread. Hands down…the best! You can tell how much I missed this sandwich by my first bite.

You’re Denied
The lady working the front is very kind and diligent. The rest of the staff clearly produce amazing food showing great passion for their profession. This place has amazing slices of pizza both Thin crust style and Pan crust slices. They also sling out great tacos. Their Carne Asada tacos are too good, they crisp up the steak just right. I recently got a job in the nearby area and this place has become a weekly stop for me and I do not regret it. ?

Pizanoz is our go-to local pizza place. The pizza is good, as is the food. Italian, Mexican and American dishes are good, and reasonably priced. Delivery is timely.

I ordered the tacos - they are some of the best I tasted in the neighborhood- will definitely order again. We also ordered a ribs dinner - it came with a large quantity of spaghetti and salad - very tasty and Greta value!
