Went for the Fri night fish fry. Fish was not cooked, was soggy. I was overcharged $2 for each plate and did not notice until I reviewed bill at home. Awful place.

We booked my son’s 1st birthday party here because we really loved the four seasons room they had. The food was very good! The server Beth, we had was very sweet and nice to everyone. However I just wish she was a bit more tentative with supplying the things we needed. We had “open bar” for beer and wine for a part of the party but I believe there was some miscommunication from one of the bartenders to the guests about that.. We also didn’t have enough tables/chairs for the amount of people we had even though we gave them a final count a week before the party. I did have to clean up most of my guests plates myself too which was a little disappointing. And I also had to keep going up to the bar to ask for more plates, plasticware, napkins and cups. I realize this is a bar, not a banquet hall but I think we just expected a little more attention from what we got. Overall food was very good and I would have a party there again.Parking: Not too many spots

Had our daughter and Son-in-law's Baby shower today. The venue was beautiful! Food and drinks were all to everyone's rave. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating. A special thanks to Beth and Spiro for making this a wonderful event! I highly recommend Prairie House Tavern for any special celebration. The party room is terrific

Prairie House is a local gem! Their staff and service is accommodating and friendly, their food is delicious, their ambiance indoor and outdoor is wonderful. No bugs outside in the summer, and plenty of decor and seating indoors. I take all my clients and business meetings here. You guys are great!
