I love this restaurant. Their portions are good, the flavors on point and great tasting salsas. The service is good as well. The other thing that’s great is their tortilla chips, freshly fried with the right amount of salt. Definitely give them a try if you haven’t yet.

I used to come here all the time with my family years ago and the everything from the service to the food was amazing…. I just left here and I can personally say the service has taken a drastic decline. It could be because I am black and the waitresses may have thought I wouldn’t tip (which I still did even though she didn’t deserve one) or what but we barely saw our waitress, she never brought us our drinks i had to get them out of the cooler myself, she got my boyfriends order wrong then when she was coming back she passed the plate off to someone else to bring back and went and tended to other costumers without so much as an apology, then we had to flag down another waitress to get to go boxes which i got almost immediately after getting my food which also took forever because I was so uncomfortable I didn’t even want to sit and eat. I’m not sure what has happened to this place but some equality and inclusion training might be nice. Btw if you do go and you are black I suggest using the drive thru.

The food is amazing!!! the service is amazing!!! Brian was so welcoming they are all welcoming I go every week sometimes twice a week.
We order birria tacos and dine in…the waiter was very nice but kept forgetting to bring our silverware and drinks…when we got our food it tasted so bland and no seasoning whatsoever…I was highly upset took a couple of bites and had to leave because I was extremely disappointed with the food only enjoyed the rice and tortilla chips ?
It’s 8:50pm and hours say they are open till 10pm. Drove 30 minutes and the doors were locked. They should really update their website!!

I'm a California native who has been searching for amazing Mexican food, good ambiance, and excellent customer service in the Midwest. I finally found it here!! A most friendly, welcoming, and generous staff, I only ordered a quick veggie burrito to satisfy my hangry late lunch and I enjoyed a veggie quesa-birra taco, free sopes, guacamole, various, delicious free salsas, and finished with a slice of cake and fresh Jamaica to go! I am telling you, the food was delicious, packed with everything a vegetarian wants, and an endless, bottomless, self-serve salsa bar. I am in heaven and have found my New Mexican go to in my new Chicago home. I'll be seeing you here!

This place is nothing like before. It’s not a family restaurant. Now, it’s more of bar. My daughter and I went to have dinner and the waitress kept on insisting that we had a drink of tequila. She was drunk and kept on drinking with clients from another table. She insisted to us to drink. How rude of her. The restaurant was dirty and the ladies restroom too. I will never return to this place again. It’s obvious this place is under new management.

I love the tacos here but the torta was not it. I eat 2 to 3 tortas a week and I like to try from different places. This has to be my least favorite but it was not terrible. My main complaint is the bread, there is something off about it. I love the spiciness of the salsa but idk why all the restaurants have watered down their salsa. Service is great and the atmosphere inside is always great, they play good music. I will continue to go there but will have to get different items. Oh and the fries are AMAZING, seasoned fries for the win ??
