“Food and service are always first rate. My Bouillabaisse was flavorful with good sized mussels, shrimp, and white fish. Loved the broth. My spouse's fried chicken was delicious. Our server was attentive and professional. The Beignets were light, fluffy, and a perfect end to our meal.“

“A southside soul food staple that has been in the Chatham neighborhood for a long while now. Lots of love goes into the food, portions are hearty and the rotation menu served is flavorful. Stopped in with a friend on Friday (Restaurant is only open Fri, Sat, and Sunday til 6pm everyday). We were greeted by a nice lil lady @ the door which directed us on how to order and pay. She then seated us after we got our food. I had a great lunch. Smothered Pork chops were so delicious. Black eyed peas and rice had that soul up in it. My only complaint was that the okra side could've had a lil bit longer in the pot. Everything else from the service to the food was fantastic. The decor is a bit dated tho but I'm fine with it. Thumbs up to this place and kudos to the staff for the experience.Vegetarian options: Sides??♂️. Nothing else is really vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Soul food. U might get the Itis.Parking: The lot is small. Only big enuff for maybe 8 to 10 cars. U may have to pay to park. “The fried chicken and pancakes were good! The chicken is super crispy and you get a half of chicken but I felt it was overcooked. The pancakes have great flavor as well. We also got cheese bites and beignets with butter pecan dipping sauce which were amazing!Our server was not the best but she tried. The restaurant wasn't being cleaned between customers. There was Syrup in the chair at my table and food all over the floors at the tables. Not a great environment.“
“I've been ordering for some months now. My absolute fav is the catfish Fillets, always fried perfectly & tasty yum. My better half likes the Cabbage & Pork Chops. You must have a slice of Lemon Cake snd they don't skimp on the slice.“
“I ordered the shrimp and grits off of their great Groupon deals that they’ve been offering it was a little bland, and as you can see it was a lot of grease in it. I kept trying to eat it and eat it and just ignore it but I was just way too greasy. You can see the grease on top of the grits. Don’t think I’ll finish this dish. I’ll be in clogged up my arteries.“
