At river oaks mall eating Oooh Wee nachos. Nachos were good the meat not greasy at all. The factory cake was horrible. And dry. Service is very poor. The women working are very strong and aggressive professionalism is very low. And if you don’t have to stop at this location, please don’t would not want you to get caught in the gang crossfire.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, IT’S TERRIBLE!!I went to this location on State Street back in August of this year, everyone raved about how good everything was. Unfortunately, the best thing to me was the pot roast. So, I pass by the location in Calumet City and decided to give their pot roast dinner a try….worst decision ever!!! I paid $20.92 for the dinner. The roast was overcooked and seasoned poorly, the rice tasted like microwaved rice out of a bag, the candied yams appeared to me, as canned yams topped with white sugar and popped in the oven to give the allusion of baked yams. If you are considering this place as an option for dinner, don’t!!!

Awful service food to expensive for bad customer service
I come at 1115-1130 they never have anything prepared. I go to the truck driving school down the street and try to eat lunch but they never have anything done and the workers always have an attitude yesterday was my only good experience around lunch time. The girl had the food prepared and was ready to take order. The attitudes are horrible and they a manager! Today was horrible customer service for sure. Hope the owner know he’s loosing money because of his workers.

I really try and support black owned businesses but they just don't do right. The nachos are 10 dollars...no lettuce. The chips were stale and it's just a waste of time and money.

I made a trip to River Oaks to support the Black owned business Ooh Wee Sweet Tea today (June 17, 2022).The customer service is horrific! I’m surprise that they are still open. The service personnel is rude and have no customer service skills. They react as though the customers are an inconvenience. I asked is I could sample the Obama tea because my friend was raving about it. The man behind the counter reluctantly gave me a sample. I ordered my food and jokingly said that I was would need a cup of water because the tea was too sweet for my palate. He said we sell water bottles. Very dry and unpersonable. Fortunately, the food was decent. Before we left the desolate mall, I asked if I could have some ice added to the cup from the tea that I have purchased. I was told that I would have to pay for the ice…I wasn’t asking for another cup or a refill of my tea, just some ICE!! Ridiculous!! My friend had eaten at other Ooh Wee restaurants and we came based on previous pleasant experiences. I will never support this restaurant again. Obviously they don’t care because there are bad reviews going back at least a year and nothing has appeared to change.

My daughter tea slipped out of her hand while picking it up from the counter. A light skin guy who is the manager or owner was very rude. He ignored me and rolled his eyes when I asked could they replace her tea. The man has really bad customer service. He could of at least been professional and responded if he was going to decline. The young lady who served us was very polite but after seeing what he did she put her head down.
