“We had not eaten here for some time. After dining here last week, we asked outselves "why haven't we been coming here more often?" The food is very good quality, really fresh. The server staff is attentive and pleasant (something lacking at many restuarants nowadays). The dining environment is peaceful and the restaurant is kept clean and tidy. Hunan is certainly worth stopping in often for a nice meal.“

Thanks!I also have eaten here regular for lunch for years and just really appreciate the hot fresh food cooked to order. Their online ordering system is good and allows additions and subtractions. Their servings are large and easily two meals for me.“
“I suppose I understand why diners must pay first given that it is a college town and there's dine-n-dash stuff that goes on, but it still feels weird to pay up-front at a sit down restaurant with table service. Also, the cashier tries to get you to tip when you pay...before the table service...and looks at you disapprovingly when you don't (I left cash on the table for the server). I don't know what, if any, splitting of the tips goes on, but you'd think the cashier was getting a cut of the tips as uncomfortable as he tries to make you feel about it.Otherwise, the food and service were excellent. The buffet has a wide selection to choose from (both hot and cold).“
“We were traveling through & staying at a nearby hotel. We found this cozy restaurant on Yelp and so thankful we did. Everything from the service, food to the ambiance was top notch. Our waitress was awesome & knew the menu very well and provided us with some guidance on different dishes and their spice levels. We ordered a couple different soups and 2 entrees, which I cannot remember the names of them, but everything was 5 stars, for sure. It was so good that I snapped a few pics of the menu so I can buy the ingredients & try to make at home (very cool that they included all the ingredients so we can try our best to replicate). We will DEFINITELY go back when near this town.“
“Awesome carry out Chinese food! A quart of Pork Lo Mein and two egg rolls comes to $16.99 with tax. Enough for dinner for two and leftovers. Their food is always fresh and delicious. I order at the counter and it's ready in under 10 minutes! Highly recommended. (The plateful in my picture is 1/4 of a quart!)“
