Considering the Dennys I grew up with, this Dennys is top notch. The prices are about in line with other sit-down, all-day-menu places. The food was way better than I expected. I had the lumberjack slam with pancakes. Everything was excellent and cooked perfectly. If there was something I feel could have been better, the bread choices could use English muffins and bagels. Service here is very good. we had a thoughtful and friendly server. She kept our drinks topped off and brought me an iced tea to go for the road. The food is what you would expect at a Denny's. The pancakes were the strongest part of our experience. The hash browns are not great, in part rock hard and in part seemingly uncooked. My omelette was good. This meal was about 20x better than what our hotel offered so I would go back.

Dennys in carbondale has really come a long way!! Our service was spectacular and our food was delicious!! The restaurant is clean and they updated the menu. Everything looked and tasted great. 5 star service!! ?????
